I am sorry to say that. The game still sucks. The factions? Why did you hire Kael of Fall from Heaven fame exactly? That mod had the most diverse and unique races ever created in a strategy game, and it was a MOD for god's sake. And yet there's not even a slight change in the banality and boredom of Elemental's factions. Humans, humans, pathfinding humans, magical humans, humans, ugly fighting humans, enslaving humans, ghost human
What a ripoff I have to REINSTALL the WHOLE GAME AGAIN? I've already done this THREE times in the past trying to stay up with the BETA and now THIS? THIS IS A BAD WAY TO START OFF ANEW! You know how long it takes to REDOWNLOAD and REINSTALL this 3GB game with only 3.0mb per second download speed and that's at PEAK performance. There's going to be literally thousands trying to redownload and install this game today. FAIL FAIL F
It will be midnight somewhere!
Yeah, I crapped the bed on that description, will go back in a bit and edit at least the name of spells etc
Either I am missing something, or those unit buffing city buffs aren't working. Supposeldy You should get +1 DEF per essence, for example. I had 3 essence in the town...nuthin@ Edit: Ok, after checking again, I definitely see the fire from "Heart of Fire." And actually, I the three defense I am supposed to get might be there, but hard as hell to check. The super basic unit are shoing a 3 "Base Value" defense, which I thought
The reviews coming out of UK are stellar. We're talking, rebirth good.
I am very willing to test this fully. I admit to being alarmed and worrying about abuse at first, but, assuming the AI can use the spell as well, this is actually something that sets this game apart, it is a talking point, a focus point of the game. We beta testers are all used to playing one way, and any large change like this, that will clearly change the fundamental way we play, thrown in at the last moment before release, will startle us. But honestly, at 50 mana
DEVIL!!
Honestly, I almost never use the lower land spell. I wonder why, actually, it would seem useful. Though there is something valuable to the experience of being locked in by land and having to find a strategy to deal with it.
2. customizing my pc and civ is very fun, but not very balanced, certain abilities(enchanters, master scouts, binding) seem way better than others. You would be surprised what people think are overpowered and not. There is a lot of strategy with each of these skills and people have been rather successful in making civs overpowered without the traits you pointed out.
I agree. I made a custo

I don't understand how you are comparing the -25% to ATK/DEF to an alternative of raising DEF (possibly ATK) of garrison troops. First of all, Garrison troops would need to present in huge numbers and be pretty much God mode to be more than a speed bump for any (even AI) soverein's army. Secondly, this actually REMOVES control and interaction for the player, as you just have to research a few things here, raise a town level there, and voila!&
Units get a -25% to attack and defense when they are in enemy lands Booo! This might seem like a clever fix to make attacking enemies harder (thereby making the game more difficult). In reality it is going to punish the AI as much as it punishes the player. But even on dense, I am able to fight my way out and estab

I just don't want the parrot to ruin another game I like (and my children, for that matter). You should learn to take comments lightly (but the underlying content seriously).
I just wanted to say that I updated last night and wanted check it out for a few minutes. Four hours later I realized it was 2 am and that I had to go to work in 6 hours. That's bad for me but a good sign for the devs.
Ya, that happened to me too. I had planned on playing another game and just wanted to check in on the tactical UI. Oops!
Well, I must say, this clearly isn't the right game for you.

Ok, scratch that. The army on the node tjust absorbed the spawn into it. I hadn't noticed. Kind of cool, actually. So downgrade the "bug" report to no message upon its spawn. Not a huge deal.
Just a quick note, I rushed an earth altar today as reson and the spwn did not show. Bummer, too, had an army just waiting for their tank. It was waiting on top of the node. Will now rush the death altar to test. Yeah, the things we do to our games when in beta.
"Takes less XP to go up levels" For towns or sovs? Guessing sovs, but just want to confirm.

It took one game to realize the greatness of this new version. I started in a not-so-great situation, though decided to play it through because it would allow me to really test the felxibility of the new system. I am the trogs...so very combat oriented. So I started on a narrow stretch of land that connected, on each side, to larger land masses. There literally nothing, except decent food/production/essense. I mean..there was nothing else on the whole narr

I am enjoying Homam 6 in its current state. Besides the tragic Uplay, that game has been flawless for me, and I am at 150 hours + played. Yeah, bought it on Impulse for $18...errr, Gamestop app...
