Keep in mind that the small size of the DotA community, not to mention where how many did migrate over from Counterstrike, was a large factor into the contribution of negative behavior in the community. Now, I'm not aiming to insult players, but I never exactly linked a good player to having no life.
I disagree Dota has a very large community and it continues to grow from what i am seeing. Also it does seem that

I am so pumped for next thursday! Thank you Trigeminal and Ke5strel for the new info! [e digicons][/e]
Firstly it was started by one guy continued by two guys + a couple of tousands of players. You just can't make a great game out of eight demigods, a decent game would be the limit. And if it's a rule of the universe then i want to destroy that universe (or maybe just change the rule would seem less extreme).
Why can't you make a great game out of 8 heroes? Why would being a decent game be the limit? Please explain your reaso
hahaha I love the idea, but it is silly. ^.-
OOOOOO!! I like that 98% next week percentage! Also the new features to come with beta 2 totaly worth the wait!! Thanks for the update Trigeminal and TyoArk!
My bad on the useless part for heroes on DOTA. All heroes in DOTA do have different rolls i just find some heroes not that usefull like rootrellen. Other then being a crazy tank i don't see any other roll for him. I still say there are heroes that are overpowered like axe or spiritbreaker. DOTA is balanced for having many heroes i will agree on that, but im saying having 8 heroes vs 93 will probably bring better balance in my opinion. I have nothing against DOTA it was not my intention to bas
Demigod is still in beta and its a fresh new game still being developed. Dota has been out for a while and its a custom game which didn't cost much to Guinsoo and icefrog. While Demigod is its own game and it cost money to develop, it might not have cool spells and skills yet, but in the future and maybe even time of its release it will. Dota is a great game and it inspired games of its genre to be developed now. I think its abit to early to be judging Demigod by saying it doesn't have c
Yes, you offically pay for Demigod when beta 2 is released. I don't know what you mean by "Can't someone confirm the charge?" hopefully someone else can help you with that.
They're many differences between DOTA and Demigod. Demigod might only have 8 heroes, but they go in-depth with each having skill trees to customize each hero. While DOTA with its many heroes you still only have 4 spells. Since i haven't played Demigod yet, but i would believe it to be more balance with 8 heroes vs 93. Some heroes in DOTA are just crazy and overpowered while others are useless. Also Gas Powered Games said that will be releasing new Demigods in the future so no need to worry ab
I totaly agree! How awsome would it be with a freaking huge Rook owning everything! For the suggestion about level 25 i don't know about a whole new apperance. It can cause some confusion and such, but the example you gave isn't like a full new apperance so i think just a new weapon looking would be cool.
Thanks for the info! I can't wait to play QoT and beta 2 itself!!![e digicons][/e] Please come out this coming thursday!!
Nice man a very good guide! I am pumped for beta 2 and the release of the game!
Thanks Trigeminal! If you are corrent on when beta 2 is likely to come out perfect timing for me right when i finish all my finals! Gives me 1 month of winter break beta 2 testing![e digicons][/e]
When ever beta 2 comes out. Hopefully it comes out soon!
I would say Demigod isn't really what you are looking for. There is no "campaign" but a single player type missions. The basic gameplay for Demigod is you choose a Demigod and then put into a battlefield against another Demigod. You and your opponent each have portals that produce out monsters (units) that are AI controlled. You gain levels by killing units that are controled by the AI. Which lets you select skills and spells etc. By killing units and capturing certian structure
Still 8 demigods even in multiplayer. I believe GPG is going to add more demigods later on. Hopefully [e digicons][/e]
No offical date has been set. If you pre-ordered Entrenchment you can be apart of the beta though.
No! not knowing when its going to be out makes the wait worse! Please Kyro give us a date![e digicons]XO[/e]
No!! I cannot wait that long! I want to play![e digicons]X([/e]
I totaly agree with Raknor. Some "pro" players might be a jack@$$ , but there are jack@$$es in every game don't let that ruin your online experience and decide not to play MP anymore. The only way to get better on MP is to keep playing and learn new strats from other people. There are plenty of people out there that are willing to give you tips and help you out. So people come on and get out there and play MP!
They just want to be safe and make sure its up to the players standards. So they are letting people who pre-ordered Entrenchment into the beta.
Go to My Games tab then click on SoaSE instead of run there should be an update button.
I read about it on PC Gamer, which interested me in the game. I have been loving the game ever since i read about it.
They did that for SoaSE I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for Demigod.
Well I want to purchase Demigod cause it looks f***ing awsome! I want to buy the the digital download and retail box package. I have the need to have the retail box for my games i'm weird like that [e digicons]X|[/e] . Well i'm going to move around end of dec. or beginning of jan. and i hear that Demigod will be released some time in Q1. So i was wondering if theres away i can change the shipping info of the game later on after i purchase it? I would just not buy it till its release, but i w
