China is already a superpower. However, if they keep up their heavy industrialization and unrestricted pollution within 30 to forty years you will probably see an ecological disaster occur which may seriously damage infrastructure. I also see the China as sharing the same fate as the Soviet Union. Thats the problem with Communism, it starts with revolution, then the new government takes over, and then comes the redistribution of wealth and power. During this stage the new government takes contro

Cruisers(except heavy cruisers) rely on their special abilities rather than straight firepower. Their abilities are used for supporting other ships which may not be able to fill the roles for certain situations. These abilities give your fleets better staying power.

I agree with the nanobot theory. If you look at the backstory the Vasari Empire fell quickley from within. Also, ingame the Vasari use Nanobots but seemingly on a limited basis ( they still use slave labor) this could suggest they learned their lesson and don't trust nanobots that much.

I'd say for the tec the Kol battleship looks the best with the BSG and Babylon 5 look. The most hidious tec ship by far is the Kodiak, it looks like a tank in space LOL. The Advents Radiance battleship is probably the best looking because it has that "I'm gonna kick your ass feel". The defense vessel looks stupid. For the Vasari the Skarovas enforcer looks cool but the Lasurak Transporter looks like a bug.
If they can't add a campaign mode/story line (Something they planned, or I least I read about it from ign) could they at least add more to the back ground story. As I'm still lose as to why the most adavance rase in the game, needs slaves, when thay have nano tech?
My theory is that the Vasari use Nanotech is because that may be what has been chasing them for the last ten thousand years. Think about it The Vasari Empire is doing fine one day until some planets Nanobots be

Personally, I believe all theories(intelligent design vs. evolution) and beliefs(Christanity, Islam, Hinduism, etc.) should be taught in schools it provides an unbiased educational experience and prepares students for much more than what is being taught now. Besides providing people with just some information and not all is foolish.

Illuminators shouldn't be nerfed like that besides they can make for a relatively cheap and effective planet defense force if any of your planets defenses get overrun
I colonized the Pirate Planet, but didn't get the achievement. Do I have to colonize during the actual game? Because I continued playing after winning.
What you have to do is colonize all pirate bases on the map. I also would advise destroying the pirate ships around the base because pirate bases generate a fair amount of income.

While I tend to go for hanger bays when it comes to defending my planets. I believe the turrets are still underpowered. While the defenses are designed to buy time before a your fleet can get there it would be nice to the turrets firepower significantly increased so planets can be better equipped to take care of themselves.
