I have found that while generals can compete with assassins early game, in the late game the assassins all have AoE abilities that can wipe out my whole minion fleet late game making them less useful. Perhaps generals are meant to be early-game pushers but I haven't seen any games where they were powerful enough to really push hard and fast early on (the towers are too strong to push past that early). Perhaps all that is needed is for minions to scale up more so a pure minion ge

There isn't much to do while your dead. It would be nice if you could look at your abilities (good time for newbies to read the tooltips) and perhaps look at the different vendors to see what is available. Only being able to look at vendors and abilities while alive is discouraging for new players as they don't really have time to read thoroughly.

I ran into a bit of a problem and didn't see the solution in a sticky but it seems that it would be a common problem (since I followed a pretty basic path, nothing complex). Here are the steps I took along with the solution to the problem in case anyone else runs into it. Downloaded/Installed Impulse. Used Impulse to purchase GalCiv II: Ultimate Bundle Pack (Digital Download). Got invoice e-mail with the 3 Serial Numbers. Tried to download /
