Well, my new 600 gig hard drive just arrived, and I'm going to be putting it in the computer tonight. I'll be using my current C drive as my new D drive, so I won't lose anything. Anything I forget to transfer to my new C drive, I can get at a later date. My question, is this: how should I go about transferring SoaSE and Demigod? Do I just uninstal them from my old drive and reinstall on my new? Will impulse just let me download another copy of DG if I've deleted

I think these would both be good ideas. But you should probably be able to toggle them off/on, seperately.
Well, I don't have the money for a new computer, so I'll have to go with AGP. We actually have another computer that's really nice, but it has Windows Media Center, so we use it as a DVR on our TV. The resolution on our TV using the computer is pretty poor, so it's just about impossible to play a game where you want to read about abilities before you get them.
Well, it turns out that Demigod won't work with my video card. So I'm thinking about getting a new one. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of money to spend, and I only have an AGP slot on my computer, so none of the new PCIe cards will work. I've found a Radeon x1600 on Ebay for only 35 dollars, buy-it-now. But will DG be able to run well with that? I know it's the minimum requirement, but I'm not sure how well the game will run on the very minimum. So what
I'm guessing since I'm in the wrong and didn't look closely enough, I probably won't be able to get a refund?
That was what I was afraid of [e digicons]>_>[/e] Looks like it will be a good while till I can actually play DG [e classic]X-([/e]
I preordered and joined the beta two days ago. My first problem was that I had to click the run button in impulse (or the icon in the start menu) a ton of times before the game actually started. This issue has been resolved. But my current problem is this: When I get into a game, even my vs. one AI opponent, it starts out barely playable, and over the next minute, turns into a slideshow. I've tried logging out of the other accounts on the computer, and getting ou
It's fixed. I updated the Logitech webcam driver like you said, and it starts every time now. Now I just need to get it running smoothly...
Dell Optiplex GX280 Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.60GHz 3.59GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM. My video card is: ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050. I just updated it today, and DG still doesn't work. It takes a ton of tries to start it, and is really slow once I get a game going, even me vs. 1 AI. Tell me if you need any other info. Oh, one other thing: When I start a game, it runs pretty poorly, but it's playable. But after a couple of minutes,
Ok, if I press the "Run" button enough times, it will come up. But it takes about 30 times (probably an exaggeration, but you get the point). When I actually get into a game, it's basically a slide-show, even playing me against 1 AI opponent. Maybe I need to put this in a seperate thread, but thought I'd put it here just in case. So, basically two problems: 1. Takes about 30 attempts to get in to the game. 2. Game's unplayable once I ac
I just preordered the game, and downloaded/installed beta 3, but when I try to start the game, absolutely nothing happens. I've got XP 32 bit. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Aaronjw EDIT-- I'm having some error messages come up now. "Demigod.exe - Application Error. The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0x00d1c22a" Also: "Microsoft
Looks like I'm going to be able to get the money. I'll probably preorder it tomorrow. Do you know when you actually get to join the beta? Is it just a case of right after I preorder it, I download the beta?
Thanks for the info. I really want to get into the beta, so I'm going to try to scrounge up the money somehow. Hopefully I'll see you guys in the arena this week!
Dang. Guess I'll wait the two months then [e digicons]x_x[/e]
I am thinking about preordering demigod, but I don't have the money ATM. I'd love to get in the beta. So my question is this: if I was to preorder, would I pay the money now, or only once the game comes out? I know I'd have the money by then, so if that's that case, I'll probably preorder it. Thanks, Aaron P.S. I did try searching, but the search feature seems to be broken (?). I tried search
Dang, I wish so bad I had 50 dollars to spare!
Windows XP, with service pack 2, I believe. EDIT-- I logged out of my account and back in, and it fixed it. It's possible that it may only be temporary though. Please post back if you have any info on the problem.
I installed it, and it's great! But I seem to have a very large problem. I switched the view setting off of align to grid. I don't know if that had anything to do with what's happening, but thought you should know. Anyway, the problem is this: the screen is "sort of" frozen. I can use programs to some extent, but if I try to get out, it leaves the image up on my screen. For example, when I minimize Firefox, it leaves the image on the screen. I
Tamren, Not sure if the SP campaign works right out of the box, but if you download the 1.4O that I posted the link to, it will work.

Or maybe you should just mail President Obama a copy of Sins for free, since the government's already in thi
Most definately. I believe the original ranked as number 14 under Best PC Games of All Time on Gamespot. I'd pay 100 dollars for a quality Battlezone 3.
If anyone here is looking for a new game to play, have you tried Battlezone? It's an amazing game from 98. It's a combination tank shooter/RTS. You pilot a tank, and can take on your enemies yourself, but you also control your units - tell your recycler to build scavangers, constructors, and factories which build better units. I'd highly suggest trying out the game. It's got a great storyline, too. It doesn't normally work on XP, but you can now download
I'm looking around at a few of these games, and X3TC looks interesting. But is it out yet? Gamestop says it doesn't come out till this April, and Gamespot says the same thing. But it seems that a demo and patches are available on the X3 website. Wikipedia says it came out last October or so. Am I seriously missing something? [e digicons]:([/e]
Have you tried RuneScape ?[e digicons][/e] In all seriousness, it's actually rather enjoyable. In most other F2P MMOs, the quests consist wholly of "go here, kill these monsters, get a reward". RS actually has pretty entertaining quests with fair storylines, and some are pretty tough, puzzle-wize. [quote who="ozo" reply="7" id="2029439"] If a Wheel of Time MMO just existed... a good one with unique spell systems and all. Hmmpfh. Need to bec
Quick question: I know that if I pre-order from SD, I get the CE of Demigod, with the Rook miniature, etc. If I wait till after it comes out, and then order it from SD, do I stil get all the bonus stuff? I'm saving my money for a flute ATM so I don't want to spend 60 of it on a game, but if I can't get the CE after the game releases, that might change my mind.
