I don't particuarly care for the ones that effect only the city your Sovereign is in. It seems to me that they would encourage players to just sit that unit in a city and forget about it when it seems like your goal is for people to actually use the unit for things. Are you open to things with pluses and minuses like the traits from Fallout? For example: Heavy Handed - You have a lower chance to hit but when you do you hit harder. For thing

Would you like an upload of each incident or will this one report suffice?
I don't like the idea of tying up my hero units that I should be using to go fight, explore and adventure by having them just sit there in a town so that it can actually be developed. You had to do something similar in Rome: Total War and I disliked it there too. I like the idea of having governors with stats that level up and such but I don't like the idea of having the governors be capable of combat (which forces you to pick and choose). T

It's so incredible this is the second time you've posted a thread about it right?
I would like to see one or two quests are in jokes in reference to (in)famous quests from other RPGs with an obvious example being the woman that wants you to kill rats in her basement in Baldur's Gate 1 (and I believe there's a similar quest in Morrowind). Another good one would be the annoying elf guy that is right outside when you start in Morrowind that wants you to find his Gold Watch. For added comedic value the rats could be very large and difficult to fight and the watch c
Personally I would try to tailor my Channeler to how I intended to play that game. If I planned on having him do a lot of adventuring in a small party to find powerful items and such I would gimp his empire building stats (growth, maybe research) to pump up his supercombatant stats (attack, defense, probably movment). If I wanted him to mainly sit in town and cast spells while benefiting my empire building I would do the opposite mentioned. Anyways, what I'm getting
I still suffer from the same family tree problem, as well. I wasn't able to get any menus up after trying to restore the file once in the game either, so I have not been testing. There isn't much point since, like you said, there are many more bugs that messing with the files seem to cause. Until there is a fix for the family tree CTD and I can test a 'clean' install, I'll keep plyaing Civ IV.
You're really not missing much.
