Right before I invade an AI with only a single planet, I sell them EVERY tech I have EXCEPT invasion techs. I make a bundle and then buy anything from them I need or

My company went 'green' and I now work four 10 hour days instead of the normal five 8 hour days. I LOVE IT. My wife still works on Mondays so I can stay up all night on Sunday. I usually just play until she gets up for work (dawn), then I go to bed, sometimes.

This is one thing thing I always do: If you play with minor races and have a system real close to yours that have 2 or more minor in it get Planetary Invasion ASAP. This works if you are a race that has even a little Soldiering. I do nothing else but get PI right away. One transport will be able to take down a minor civ that early as long as the pop is 3 bil or lower. I once had a system that had 4 minors in it and within about 15 turns I controlled four 15 pq planets. A

I did it three times with different races. It was fun. I did not get an April win like you guys talk about. I think my earliest was June. I didn't do it in DA, I did it in Twilight 1.96 (haven't downloaded the 1.99 yet). Does the version make a difference? Next I wanna try on suicidal, its the only way I'll feel 'right' about it. Then I wanna try with more that one A.I. Anybody know what was the most AI opponents this was ever accomplished against?
