I think Operative is the most fun as a healer. It just feels right to sit behind cover and provide tactical support for the team. Sure I throw in the odd poison dart or concussion grenade, but mostly I am there to observe. What I really like is when the team loses a few people right at the end and I have to get in close and flashbang the enemy and start backstabbing them for the final kill. It does bother though, that at this point most tanks don't get an AoE taunt so I have

Of course it will.
Hoth is my new favorite world. I loved Taris for its concrete jungle cityscapes but nothing is as beautiful as a white maw base loading up ice crawlers with supplies as I sneak about their massive base looking for soft targets. It is just a wonderful place to walk around in. The first time i have really felt alone in the wastes. Kind of wish some other Lords of Hyperion would come join though.
No email yet, probably the week of.
I will probably spend the first few days going through the XML. Best part of the game.
It's funny that I only talk about this game on the Stardock forum because going to the SWOTOR forum means only talking to people who autoskip the cutscenes so they can powerlevel to 50 and start complaining about the lack of high level dungeons. The thing that really annoys me about the MMO hardcore gamer is the total lack of appreciation of the immersion into the journey of an RPG. The fact that they call it dungeon shows how little they understand the game. Any attempt to
Banned for not banning on time.
If the only way to use the RNG to name your firstborn was a prenup, you would too. But seriously, in certain states you need a prenup to counteract some of the ridiculous marriage laws. To me it is a political statement. I would want to sneak some hilarious things in there though. Like, we would also use the RNG to name the fridge. And Thursdays would be cartwheel day. I just think it would make marriage more fun. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
The Sith Empire is a combination of both light and dark sides of the force. As is the Republic. The only difference is that one of them is lead by politicians and the other is led by the undefeatable will of the Emperor.
I imagine casting time will make level 1 spells useful even in the endgame because they are harder to counter. So many nuances and I haven't even gotten the beta yet!
Kind of thought it might be an FE map, but that is freaking cool!
The Sith are going to win. I choose to win. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I have had strep throat for 3 months. Can't wait to see what I'll out of FE! [e digicons][/e] + [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
It is extra weird to me because I have gotten Prototype boots, but the word wasn't in parentheses. Maybe it is a snafu from beta? AFAIK you can only mod orange items. BTW, anyone still stuck on Quesh like me? Least favorite planet so far. [e digicons]:puke:[/e]
Don't worry guys I have infiltrated his guild and am keeping an eye on the play times of the devs with the help of a few of my spies. Imperial intelligence is just as eager to get their hand on this beta. [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
I expect and appreciate your feeble attempts at praise. Now that I have won this game, all future posts are to be considered commentary on what this thread would be like if I hadn't have won.
Classify the 15 bucks as a new small game added to the current one. That plus server costs and the level of patching the are doing justifies the cost for this game. Plus you basically get a new game out of every class, so it is pretty much several games in one. I am not a fan of MMO's either, but this one changed my mind. Wish there was a free trial for you.
I was asking in the Hollywood fashion to make it clear that Impulse is nothing in this town anymore. Don't need a definition.
Maybe it could have little colored flags on each tile, color indicating the turn that move will be on. It might even turn red when it crosses paths with an enemy.
I declare myself winner. All others may cease to post.
WTF is an impulse?
We can choose which ones are on? Nice! This will be invaluable to some of my expansion packs that plan on having mostly monstrous armies.
I wrote a post at one point about how to properly imagine space in the Elemental world. To summarize, each tile needs to only represent the type of land it contains. The actual area of the tile is only determined by the surrounding tiles. I would think of it as a quantum theory of tile representation. So, walking through a grass tile must be imagined as an adventure in and of itself. The path will not be straight. There may be several stops. Days will pass. Each turn starts to m
