Don't count on it. You can bet that after FE's expansion it will be on the table. Probably will use the same team they have now and the same engine. It will be a long time off though. And there may be an RPG game that comes out first. I think they want to wait on the 3rd installment until everyone is using 64bit so that the game can reach its full potential.

I would guess that vanishing cities is one of those things that is on the list but not first on it. It is almost certainly going to be fixed at some point. The only time a faction should raze all cities is when a pure evil race decides to do so out of spite. That should only happen to one or two cities though, after the war is hopeless for them.
Also, many people are waiting for a solid beta release before jumping in the pool. I know there were at least a few game reviewers that said as much about beta 3.
I honestly assumed that there was little sunlight in the realm and thus there was little pigmentation. The only meaning that can be added to the story with more pigment is hotter apparent climates. If this world was all of the same pigmentation, we would still have race issues, we would just find a different way to differentiate the races. Ex: Paridians despise Tarthans, which can be clearly recognized by their scraggly hair and tattoos. See, no color difference required. <
I decided not to add them because all effects are currently bugged. They continually play until the game crashes. I assumed everyone knew this and had turned the effects off.
Finally irrelevant politics has shown up in FE. I have been wanting to talk about the Trog stand-your-ground law for awhile. [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Testing is easier on a consistent map, unless we are testing the map generator.
Can we get a list of changes? Not necessarily a change log, but a general list of that which is new.
Summons are pretty damn weak. I would like them to have better spells and maybe some traits to allow a maximum of 5 summons per conjurer. I am excited to use Shadowgate in the new beta.
I would rather see less bugs. Go ahead an release on Friday if it will improve game longevity. People are going to be very critical. This is the internet you know.
The burden of proof is on you. Do you have a sales receipt or did you buy with a debit/credit card? If not, you may be lying. Everyone that ordered later could claim as much and get a free copy of FE. That is not fair to Stardock. Especially since WoM eventually became a competent game.
At some point the AI will be good enough to force us to city spam or be destroyed. Hopefully that day is soon so we can complain about it.
Too bad I won't buy Legends of Grimrock on principle. On the principle that the spiders are too scary. [e digicons]8O[/e] Is it the exact same game as the original?
I am still holding out hope that Disciples III will have an expansion that fixes the AI and tries to balance the game. It could blow these other games out of the water if they would only work on those two issues. But without them there is no point in playing. And since it is not moddable... [e digicons]:(O[/e]
The WoM Workshop can still be used to make FE tiles and effects.
I just hope my drill sergeant doesn't find these forums... [e digicons][/e]
Actually, it looks like I will be heading off to boot camp pretty soon. I won't have much time to mod beta 3. The counterattack thing is a vanilla game bug, so every weapon I gave counterattack to is bugged. It is almost certainly fixed in beta 3, as most of their weapons also use counterattack. Some of the other things you point out make me suspect you are using an older version. Monk's Staff is only +4 dodge, while there are several other swords and staves that are much bett
I seem to recall somebody trying this and finding that marriage was still possible, but children, for some reason, weren't.
He says that, but honestly I think he just had the "Sterility" injury. [e digicons]:O[/e]
There is no carrot or stick in the game right now. The only drive for the player is multiple experiences and knowledge from other games. I think they should add a little directional story to prod the player along. The scene we see when founding the first city is great. We need 100 more of those to pop up and tell us what is happening and what we are doing. We need story and lore. I think it would be great if each tech told a little story about you advancing in a certain direction and how you
@nix032, Actually your opinions are invalid. I can say that because you are missing subtle nuances of the game. You need to play it more and make several mods before your opinion matters at all. Right now it doesn't. People like you reach a mediocre plateau in the game and think you know everything. The real gamers go beyond that. Every time I play I have to mod a new difficulty setting to challenge me. It really sucks that the makers of the game are pandering to people like
These forums generally discourage trolling a troll. Clearly he was trolling, but it is better to point out his trollness with subtle questions. It prevents the troll from trolling further. Don't feed the trolls. [e digicons]:troll:[/e] + [e digicons]:pizza:[/e] = [e digicons]:troll:[/e] [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Wouldn't it be nice if a few large cities could match the value of many cities? This part of the game has yet to achieve anything more than spam benefit. That will eventually change.
To each their own. I don't like gold for instance.
No XP for you!
To people who don't know, check out Galactic Civilizations 2: Twilight of the Arnor on Stardock Central. It is the best Space TBS game I have ever played. The AI is the best in any game I have ever played. Also some sweet Stargate, Star Trek, and Star Wars mods for it. In this game, when you click on a ship, a button can take you to the upgrade screen. On that screen you can choose to upgrade the ship from any of the ship designs you have made that will work f
