There are limited if you had all 9 army, you can't get all of them in garrison battle, it's not that advantage but if you had few number of army or few hero, maybe that could be advantage but full army do not gave advantage but more harm than good last time I check in .913 beta but right now I don't know, maybe rule is still apply that you can't had all troop in garrison battle map...

Yes, I agree and it's very annying...I find that melee is much easier to playing than power playing (mage stuff) When playing as kingdom, I rare, it's very rare to get those horse, even metal....crazy...

Whata bout wanderlust that had a questmap with good stuff for one point? what about archer that not cost metal and faster and deadly bow for cost of one point? I'm not aware we can build a road? All I know if you had city here and one city other and did reseached tech of "trading" road will come up auto...and road to other faction or race city come up when agress with trade as well. Raze Road is nice when road mess up in game as long we had a abilty to build road in game, but I do not know we can build road in game, how so?

Military Resceah, if you see some sort of amry rank, that is upgrade, allow you to had more space in army, but on civil reseach, there is army rank is for trained troop, more troop in a units, it's not allow you to had more units in army's space but allow you to had more troop in a unit..., rather than army's space...
Sword may be nice, but I find spear is very useful, it's cheap, and easier to make for trained troop...I do like many archer with few spearmen to back them up. I love this style! Swordmen is nice, but it's too much resouce (weight for troop, yikes) and long build... Well, depend saved game could be useless if you do not had troop to get in there time even though enemies coming and won to taken over city in few turn before they got to raze city in saved game... I had rarely lost city to a.i, but lost often to monster and they raze it. LOL
