Thing is Multiplayer ruins games. Not saying to not include it saying it should be the lesser not the greater feature. SP makes good strategy games. Anyways the Other thing is even if they don't take my idea's over resources n some such i wouldn't say they didn't listen to me i know the dev's are listening to us on the forum the reason why? Stardock Cares they really do they even wrote a 'gaming constitution'

Eh well like the soldier system a Pioneer could simply be hired civs to work construction you que up the order to construction afew forts etc. and garrison soldiers in them and you order them to settle down in anew village with their familys etc. You could make it quite dynamic able to appoint leaders to forts that Auto garrison soldiers based on their skill *Kinda like the city govenor skill their talking about* Add that to the natural evolution of the roads and infranstructure *road
Actually i believe You can control battle in battlemode 2 as it's been said in the features list on impulse.
Yeah I do hope they put abit more emphasis on economics and Prestiege. Besides wouldn't townhalls reduce maintenance by implementing more localized and controlled government.
I love Impulse and Stardock in general so awesome. No need for help *and the control that comes with it* from others companies like E.A Microsoft. Blizzard. etc. they all fuck up games they have even the tinyest hand in.
Well I might try my hand at creating or modifying afew spells.
Yeah but this does match A.O.W pretty well as a successor its also a better successor to heroes 3 then 4 and 5 were. Also its a pretty good successor to M.O.M
Well Gameplay is enriched by heightened strategic options. Hell make it optional for all i care. And to Tasunke that sounds okay but once again i like being able to settle my own small villages and outposts even if yes its automatically managed it would still be nice to be able to do to make the world less sparse.
As i said Fantasy if i really wanted it to be totally realistic i'd break out the Merchantilism guide book and begin to recite how to establish the proper medieval market system. But i didn't and the reason why is because it'd be excessively boring. Doesn't mean some realism would ruin the game it'd expand the strategic scope and make it more interesting.
This game is being built that way. And if they are taking my idea's *and several others* for the economic model then it'll be perfect for sitting back and building designing and growing. But even without that its really awesome already and designed for long games if you set it up that way. And i do agree settlers 7 is too damn rushed.
But thats not highly realistic. I'd perfer it if their was a realistic echonomic model is all. Mostly because it'd be nice to have that added in. Add that to all of the other features and you have the Perfect strategic fantasy roleplaying trio game.
Yeah i can't wait for beta 1Z sucks for you tasunke. Then again i have studying for G.E.D to do.
Lol. *sorry the diamond wall is funny* But seriously i like choices on what to do with it and maybe the possibility of being able to design some super units etc. or make artifacts/armor with certain special stuff.
Hopefully it'll be very flexible and tactical *towers forts farms villages etc.* But if not im at least somewhat appeased by its existance.
I completely love the new Pioneer Unit. And as i put in the post about my personal idea's. I am glad that you've decided to include the ability to construct farms and mines and villages etc. outside of cities. Makes it less sparse and barren and more realistic *even in a wasteland people need an infranstructure*
Frogboy Monday, March 29, 2010 Internally we are constantly playing, testing, and trying out new ideas. Here are some examples of discussions we have had: To:
Totally agree particularly to the eater of the dead comment. It was one of the most awesome creatures in Dominions. Beings like it are awesome and teach your enemies a lesson about trying to contol the uncontrolable...and sometimes you are taught the lesson.
SP Single player is what makes a great game. Most Great or Epic games focus on SP and model MP after SP to give people an indepth experience to me SP comes first MP after.
I recently saw a post stating that there will be a unit called the 'Pioner' whom can build mines as indictated in the post by frogboy. I'm very happy about this. Anyone else?
I'm glad people agree with me.
Yes as i posted in the sov/reequiping gear topic. A spell of transmission used via the 'Equipment' screen would allow you to transmit items between champions and your sov and heirs at a small mana/essence cost relative to distance.
Yes but if you cast spells to make your land more fertile and green it should produce something i agree.
Not necessary really.
Use the system of Tasunke but make it require mana or essence to transfer items to champions calculated on their distance make it a magical spell of transmission available to all sovs. *its done through equipment screen but handled like a spell*. Balance/realism error solved.
Not really Infact for most of the medieval era roads were sparse citys as well and there were MANY villages and towns and mines amongst the wilderness with few cities infact. Why can't i build villages and towns and cities as well as small forts towers and defensive outposts and resource harvesting centers? Its not only more realistic but more beautiful as well as being strategic. Besides can't we all agree we need to be able to filter food and resources to our
