there's an option go go online. I really never thought anyone ever bought an RTS for its single player. (okay rts with 4x elements or 4x with rts elements...w/e)

shell be like frosted flakes..greatttt ur story's awesome.
NO IT DOESNT NEED SWITCHED BACK.It needs to stick and have colors. The devs did a good job on making the ingame and ICO work between each other, chat beep, the scroll bar jumping down from all the join/leaves.Oh, and yeah, theres your improvements.Theres only TWO bad things(Albeit really bad), your last message doesn't stick, and there are no colors.Theres like 20 things they improved ffs but you're too blinded by your ignorance to see them and just go "BAWWW BRING BACK 1.02" instead.[/q
Yeah homeworld 2 is like...my favorite rts/4x game ever. I like the bcs.. they wtfpwn and it's awesome
That really was awesome. I will definitely try this some time. Good work on choosing advent. Definitely most powerful race per capita. GJ. Do u also play sins online?
@Advalary That's just ridiculous. I don't see how fucked up positions prevent stacking, and some people don't like combat to break out right in the beginning of the game. There should be a starmap with positions that can be chosen by host or player or both.
Wow i must say this mod looks beautiful. A lot of hard work must be involved, I cant believe the high goals that you set and are accomplishing. I can't wait to play the new factions!
Oh for chrissakes...really, what is the difference if someone downloads a mod from a link in this thread, or a link that is 3 threads above it in the exact same forum?Your name is plastered all over it, it's being distributed from the same website, and he is not claiming that it's his own work. He's simply making it easier for other people to enjoy your work combined with the work of other talented modders.Seriously, WTF is the difference?I understand that you put a great deal of time int
I finally got the mod to work for me, and damn its nice. I can't believe the game didn't ship this way.
ditto. Amazing If anyone is down for a Balknight mod game online let me kno CommanderAdama on Ironclad odst117 on Xfire I really want to play a good big online game with graphics so nice
yo guys are fudgkin crazy. i would prefer if devs added a mode faster than the current fast....
Well, my first game vs the AI with 1.3 was disapointingYeah, so was mine. The AI kicked my ass. That is whay i call dissapointing. Destroyed me before i had a good working fleet going. I guess that's what i get for taking a couple days off for some Half Life 2. I got soft.
You should try going online and finding a skilled player who would be willing to play wit you and give you ingame tips. Sounds like you really need them. My friend's first game ever was me and him
After a full day of the patch being released, i must know... How does it stack up in the eyes of all you forum people? Tec= i assume buffed Advent= ?? Vasari= Nerfed? I have actually not really gotten the chance to really try out v1.03. Tomorrow i'm playin a Huge 5v5 with my buddies, if anyone wants in lemme kno. Also, anyone have any tricks for using the ingame map editor? I made a niceee map with Galaxy forge only to find out that the maps cannot be aut
I love battlestar galactica!! April 4th Baby! Wooooooooooooooh!!!!
something is wrong with your computer.
For people bitching about LRM spam. That's the early game. That's it, stop whining about it. Obviously you know it's going to come, so do something about it. As advent i spam illuminators vs lrms and this patch makes it more feasible. The beginning of the game isn't supposed to be the end. If you're good, you'll make it to a point where you can build a mixed fleet, even on the smaller maps. As for build order, the name itself just gives it a bad rep. I have never even used the term un
[link removed by moderator -- do not post torrent links again or you will be banned] If you know how to use bittorrent get the game from there then register your CD-Key when u create an Ironclad Online account! This is where i downloaded it before i even got to pick up the game 'cause i was so excited to get it running online as soon as i got the cd key from retail. Enjoy
When guys get low on hitpoints, retreat them. Usually I try to retreat once I've lost shields (this is pretty conservative, but it helps ensure the unit survives long enough to jump - there's no point retreating if you can't preserve the unit. Naturally, if you're not facing many enemies, you can be more aggressive with retreat timing.)When you attack, focus fire on priority targets to take them down faster and lower your enemies' damage output. Generally, I focus on repair stations, then
Shame on mods for not removing this post for profanity.Would be a shame if mods had to be our babysitters on this forum. The more mature of us should know how to react to flamers/OTs/profanities by not addressing the post at all. Those attention deprived will soon get the message, like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. You do know this is a game right? Most games (including this one) market primarily to kids.. sure the difficulty level of this game may push the demographic to a more mature
Each player has to have a home planet. U have to assign that yourself.
more than 10% of new cpus purchased today are quad-core.I think we can chalk that up to a couple of things:1. People who know what they're doing (media developers and editors, not gamers)2. People with too little sense and too little money
You're an idiot. Take your elitist attitude somewhere else.
What happened is someone bought the game then used the serial and returned it. The way to get this handled is by emailing support, what problem are you having sending an email?wow i cant really see gow that would happen i order it online and it came with all of the seals and every thing. thanks kryo for the link i was able to submit a ticket.
I hope u know that they have plastic wrap machines at every gamestop and ebs. A lot of employees take the liberty of playing g
That's too bad that you're unwilling to just release a graphics update. The fact is that most people online play vanilla sins, and by a changing the game, it's just going to discourage me from playing it in single player since I'll get use to your version and not the version people actually play.I think many people mistake something about this mod.Mod compatiblity is not just matter of entities also particles. IF YOU WANT PLAY WITH MOD ONLINE YOU AND YOUR OPPONENTS MUST HAVE EXACT SAME MO
Just release the graphics mod DON'T change anything else , this is what the players want
He already made it clear he's doing it for himself. I guess he has never experienced online gameplay..
You know, I often feel like I'm the only person in the world that has had an outstanding experience with Vista. Everyone is always trying to tell me how awful it is, how nothing on it ever works, how it killed their dog and burned down their house, etc. I'm just like, naw...Anyway, I'm using Vista Ultimate with an Nvidia 8800 GTS, no crashes ever. My Nvidia driver version is: 7.15.11.6906. IIRC this was the last driver version that would have been released on Windows Update. Perhaps
@rezor vanilla is another word for non-modded game. Like vanilla ice-cream, it's plain
