Telling you right now, psu can't handle the load. If not enough juice is distributed, it can cause crashes, reboots, freezes. Try another psu, one that's 700 watts or above and a good brand. I bet the crashes go away. It's really simple. The full wattage of a gpu doesn't come alive until a game is played, and a 3d one. If the wattage goes over when he plays, it'll crash.

Sounds liek you don't have enough of a power supply to handle the power of it. For a machine like that, I'd suggest nothing lower then 700watt psu.

One other thing. Capital ships wouldn't be something you'd unlock. They'd be based on what tech tree you are currently at. If you've studied techs like electromanetism, metals, computers, and particle acceleration, your capital ship would go at the speed of light, but not be as good an attacker if you studied plasma weaponry and fusion. You'd only be able to study 4 tech types to create capitals. In the case of the militants, they'd have alot harder time then most, s

How would these races play into new battles? For the militants, you'd hafta sneak up to ships and steal them. Large numbers allow you to repeat, but not too often. The abandoned cannot be killed easily. Even destroying their ships may not stop them. Robotic beats can be fooled into thinking someone else is trying to control them.
