Z axis in Sins is AI controlled yes, but you can use the Z axis by holding down the "~" key and moving. It's done that way so you can move on that axis if you want. Each ship in the game has a unique use. I'm not sure where you saw the infomation on everything being similar. As for combat. The AI in sins is still being worked on. you can get a new bios by orderinga new bios chip. you can get them online, just have to know what type of chip your motherboard has. it's really easy to remove and put in a new one. As for your power supply, 500W I'm not sure is enough power man. A lot of times I have hardware errors on other computers was cause of a poor power supply or lack of power. It's why I always go for power supplys around 700-800W. Anyway. Hope that helps

why don't you, since you're 15 and probably on vacation. Write a letter of intent to a company that may have an office. Ask them if they may let you in. Take a piece of paper, write down what you see, and take a camera and take pictures. Most game artists will do research like that before starting anything... just a thought

The screenshot you sent us is an alignment issue with the model, it can be fixed easily. Thanks I am however curious if anyone has seen it floating moreso than that. I've seen it before. I want to know if anyone out there has seen it where the extracter is almost totally off the asteroid. That's the file we need. We can't replicate it in house for some reason. We're asking for a savegame. Thanks for the reply though

I have a small request. We've been having reports of Extractors floating a bit off resource asteroids. What we would like, is if somebody comes across this, save the game and please email Ironclad the File. The files are large for saved games, zip it up and email it. The file should be only a few megs. Thanks

The problem is that no race is truly better then the other. I don't know all the lore, but If I had to guess the Advent are probably the most innocent. Reason why It is even is cause the game needs to be fair to every player. As you have noticed while playing the game. The Terran planets are the most habitable. If we all started with different planet types, it would mean that we all start off with a different amount of resources. This will lead to some players getting the short end of the stick. It wouldn't be fair to those he get a volcanic planet to start. Starting planets need to be the same for these reasons...
