the sdc goes into some phase of waiting for 3 secs at a time but never gets past that
2/20 08:45 EST. I'm having a similar issue using XP. The "waiting" starts, then I get an "Installation Failed" error.
I've had this happening all the time the 1st hit point number should never be larger than the second I believe im right in thinking.
Perhaps the AI is displaying the numbers in reverse order.
I like the button that expands the editor to the left side of the screen, but I have to "collapse" to submit the post.
....Spore Buster.....
That's a great idea! I still stick with the old-school "bigger ship beats fleet of small ships" theory. I have to add some HP modules, but the new fleet techs have not hurt me that bad so far.
....bug.....
There's definately Something in there that causes at least a 25% mystery increase in the interest rate ability (at least for the Korx). I can't imagine that this would be intentional, since it kicks in late(ish) in the game, when it is not really needed. I would much prefer a strong discount on the front end that fades over time, or something of that nature. Anyway, if you think it's bad now, wait'll the mods start coming out! Planetary impro
Man, I wish I knew how you did it. I am struggling to keep my head above water financially in the early game. Where is the purchase-now/interest rate reduction?
If you have either of these techs, you get a 25% purchase-now reduction: Culture ID="CutThroatCompetition" Korx Propulsion ID="Hyperion Fabrication" Thalan If you pick Neutral when you have Xeno Ethics, you get another 25%. There is an additional 25% hidden in the tech trees som
So.. how do I fix this, ladies and gentlemen? Whats the deal with these Jagged Knife? Are they staying until someone kills them? Is there a way to hack the savegame to give me back my planets? Or some other cheat?
If you select a Jagged Knife planet, then ctrl W them, they will surrender to you and you will have ALL their planets!!!
I tested the Arcean and the Kork, and I love the tech trees for these two. The Weather Zenith is awesome, as are the Korx Mercenary and Super Trade modules. The best technique I have found (so far) for surviving the lack of early base structures is: Go full throttle early to make factories/labs, build several colony ships, then throttle the production rate Way Back while the colony ships are exploring. As my population grows, I research while slowly increasing the production tab to keep
I just preordered my copy of Twilight of the Arnor through stardock, how do I get to play the beta?
Use StarDock Central to download/install it. @Cari: One peculiar thing I noticed when playing this weekend is that the Thalans will fill entire planets with embassys. Somehow, they still have the economic ability to dominate the game too!
I just got the Beta today, and I am very impressed! One question, though. Is the
10
intentional? It seems to me that this gives all races a 10x speed bonus. Edit: It says speed 10 speed
If nobody else has included the infamous Wilhelm Scream in anything, I have added it to the starbase explosion sfx. Right click to download, add to the sfx folder. Back-up the original version first.
What is a DXScript2 file, and how can I edit it?
Does anyone know how to modify the type and frequency of mega-events and/or how to assign planets to minor races in campaigns?
