eh i've given up on it, sim city 4 , is just so much more fun to play than cities XL. the whole multiplayer part of this is a waste imho.

+1 in SUPPORT of the later release date, take note of all the games pushed back till Q1 2010 now, Elemental might get overlooked if released in February. Plus the longer a game is being activly worked on with community input ( via beta suggestions ) the better! :D

its quite a good game, i got it at awhile back for 35$ (retail box), and am very happy with it, only used 1 activation so far and I bet Ubi will release a patch down the road to removed the TAGES once demand has died down.

forgetting about the DRM on this game, the game itself is beautiful, fun, and very deep, its as much fun as 1701 was plus a lot more. very glad I purchased this.

yeah the multiplayer is the online community chat/trade aspects tied to it, i don't see myself paying for the online aspect once the game comes out. there will be things called GEMs also which allow you to make more money in game, but I also think they are going to be tied to the online/subscription part. not sure yet... as a city builder is not bad, but nor is it the great sim city 300/4/Rush hour. I can't say much due to the NDA.
