When a city finishes building a structure, or a unit finishes its goto orders, the game should zoom to that unit/city and ask what you wish to do next. Having to manually go through your units and cities each turn to check if they need new instructions is a real killer. One of the reasons I always find it hard to tear myself away from civ, is it keeps prompting me for what to do next! This has no doubt been said before, but it needs to be emphasized.

Strength bonus for a bow isnt that bad. You can draw a bow further with high strength. Whether it should count as much as a melee weapon is arguable. Perhaps to make advantage of very high strength you need more costly bows?

Stardock should just remake MOM with better graphics. Forget trying to invent the wheel. Im certain a remake of MOM with better graphics would be hugely succesful. Sure you could even add things to it, but change for the sake or being different is a losers game and why we are still waiting for 16 years for anything as good. HGL tried to be different for the sake of it. Stat feed was probably the biggest nail in the coffin for that game, but of co

Hater is such a stupid word. Virtually everyone on this forum has bought the game and wants, and has faith in it being eventually fixed. I pre-ordered a while back, and could still get my refund if I wanted to. But I have no intention of such. Ill go and play other games and come back to this when its fixed. Meh. The doesnt absolve stardock from getting the flaming it deserves though, just like I well tell my friends and family when they screwed

I seem to recall most comments on gameplay being largely ignored (as well as the pleads to postpone release). Sorry but I dont think the beta testers are in any way to blame for this.

There were literally hundreds of posts suggesting stardock hold back their release date because it was patently obvious that it wasn't going to be ready on time.

It was patently obvious the game wasn't going to be ready, and hundreds of posts on the forums before release is testimony to that. I dont believe for one instant that Stardock didnt release it knowing full well it was buggy and unfit for release, and I must say Im not impressed with being lied to. However I trust stardock to make it good, which is wh

This is the main reason why Im happy to preorder games from stardock and will continue to do so inspite of the poor release condition of Elemental. I still think it was a blunder releasing the game when they did, and its something that is going to hurt game sales permanently because of bad reviews that wont get re-reviewed, and I said as much several times during beta, but I guess thats Stardock's problem. For me its just a case of shelving the game for a while until ge

I was there at release, but chose a low pop "roleplaying" server, as well as playing at offpeak times, due to my time zone, so I personally had ZERO problems.

The problem with complaining you were quoted out of context, is that its a comment you have made numerous times on these forums to people with valid criticism of the game (who have already bought the game anyway). Perhaps if you listened to criticism instead of shouting people down, then Elemental might be the better for it.
One big issue that hugely affects champions is the fact that a unit group simply pools all of its stats and treats it as one. So if you have 10 units with 10 damage each, on an attack the game just rolls 0-100. This is obviously bad when your single champion only has 30 hp. What should happen is each of those 10 units rolls 0-10 and the champion is then given a defense roll for each of the 10 attacks.
This is what th

There are some wierd things going on. I had my machine running very slowly last night, and I noticed that there was still an elemental process running even though it didnt show up in alt-tab. So I killed the process but my machine was still running very slowly.
