How does that cap affect synthetics such as the Yor who have/had a pop cap of 100?
pheonixstorm
Yep, and other data related bugs don't seem to be fixed either as far as I can tell. Hope they do get fixed though once the main changes are tested.
easy to mod yes, but that isn't an excuse for lazy coding.
Its like that in 2.61 as well so not just a 2.7 issue.
and to top it all off, I was looking at the wrong impdefs file.. the one in the crusade directory shows .025, which is worse. MaxManufacturing Colony
Now that is strange.. why do we have two different values? Files validated, no issues opt in update 2.7 preview ImpDefs still show .05

2.7 and its not showing .5 per level like it did in 2.61
The change to the Space Elevator makes it not worth building anymore. +1 construction/maintenance and less than .1 for adjacency bonus?? Level 7 only shows .2 as its bonus. Should this change have been to a multiplier?
Can you run more than 32 factions/civs using just those from stardock? Nothing downloaded or from steam.
Count always mod certain buildings to come with its own garrison. Starport give x while military academy gives y. Cities give another z while every new colony starts with 1 or 2 standard. I really think part of the AIs problem is the lack of citizens in some regards and it lack of understanding of other aspects as well as certain civ priorities pushing the AI in directions it shouldn't be headed just yet. Though I don't have a complete grasp on the xml so could be entirely wrong on so
Have you studied how the other traits work over ALL the files? If its crashing you may be missing something somewhere.
more spambot BS...
Is that really accurate though? For preexisting race I can see it being the case but wouldn't that change affect all NEW synthetic races?
I love Avast but sometimes... [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
Priority should be 1. Core bugs 2. Data bugs 3. Data and feature tweaks
Considering I leave the game running for days on end sometimes for the right map size I wouldn't mind creation taking up to an hour on my rig. When playing Free Orion I always go for a minimum of 1,000 star galaxies and on occasion push 1600 when a new release comes out. The more room there is to expand and the more time between contacts with other empires the better. Even if it does mean I can't get rich trading techs. All in all I have been happy with the Gal Civ franchise even if i
Best of luck, AV can be a real pain sometimes especially for developers... They don't like executable files that you compile but will completely miss a virus embedded in some random installer... I remember a long while back that one of the Total War titles had an issue like this. In that case it was something that the game required that was removed from the driver. In this case there may be some change that the devs did that conflict with something on your computer. It happens, and is
You sure about that? My game works fine, doesn't crash at all. You may have a good machine but it doesn't mean a thing. If it ran fine 8 months ago what has changed on your machine? Are your drivers old? Updated? What OS? As a software developer blaming the software when you don't know jack is a BS excuse. Maybe it is the game maybe not. If you don't or won't consider contacting support then don't complain if it doesn't work. It would be one thing if a large number of users were havin
Any of his mods still over at nexus?
No clue but dual module transports showed up on their own for me so I would assume yes. They do cost 2 legions to build afterall.
Yeah no more base game, continue with crusade... probably until next expansion then 3-6 months after they will drop crusade. That is the usual dev cycle for games. Though MOST companies continue with fixing code bugs (exe) but not data. So as long as the core game and the expansions are all using the same base exe then bug fixes will continue for all. Just don't expect data changes, though you could probably back port data fixes that don't require anything beyond the base game. My thoughts an
Yeah same setting I have had one galazy with a butt ton of habitable planets then next game was pretty empty. Also noticed that some games the deck is stacked half the galaxy is teaming with life while the other side looks dead. It can be kinda weird. Started one game with my closest 3 habitable neighbors being precursor worlds. Talk about lucky!
1. More admin. The lack of admin early and mid game is very annoying and seems to cause the AI to never have a lot of planets. 2. AI with cities. I have seen a few, but this is very few on normal. I hear of a worse situation on higher difficulty levels. 3. Some costs are outrageous. Citizens are one. Legion especially, which may be part of the reason they are so few garrisons if the AI does not choose Generals. 4. Those poor synthetics... Pop resource cost is too high.
That's why I beeline to a certain benevolent tree for its 3rd selection. Free 2 point of pop so always go for .5. Makes expansion feel like a cheat.
