For the current AI, it doesn't go into debt and it does a good job of teching. Its slowly getting its teeth put in on the tactical side. For multiplayer you just port forward like it tells you on the launcher and then your good. Sots 2 really shines in multiplayer. Sots 2 has the deepest 4x combat system. The AI is the main focus right now so scenarios are still sitting on the side for the moment. The tech tree is absolutely huge and there are tons of ship sections and designs t

Also FYI the strategic AI has been updated. No more AIs in debt, so when you take over them in multi you no longer say crap and have to fix the econ.

Omg I also most forgot! If you need someone to help you hit enter, global chat. Even in single player pop your questions and most likely someone will help you. There is a second chat for your own multiplayer games too. We had 600+ people in chat on Saturday. Good stuff. Yes it can be distracting so you can just close it too. Campaigner- Grab Sots 1 first. Loa you can win a game but they need a week or 2 weeks max of love (we are getting updates on the weekend too). The other races are playing fine though. Ai gets better with every update and everytime people shows them funky ai they fix it. Also lots of random events in Sots 1. You can play for 2-3 years and find something new. Youtube will probably start to get flooded soon and I will start my LP series in 2 weeks. Right now its Sots

They also just had their 2nd free update and with one more coming before they go full speed into their first expansion (assuming its next year). Good game for the price.
