If your getting the error for downloading which I have had a few times before, just restart Impulse. It worked for me.

Expand the race distinctions. I mean we will have expansions.
When I finish a quest to put essence in a mother wolf and gain 2 wolfs. Now when I alt tab and come back sometimes the icon in the army for the wolfs are just black. Anyone else get this. I am playing in fullscreen now too. Also reloading and the Blank image is still there. Heres a picture too. Link
I really like reading these articles! Ya I have to agree just make 2 races for now. Down the road you guys will make big juicy expansions like you always do. Add a few more races and add more sub factions too and a ton loads of other great features! Down the road I really don't see having more than like 7 or 9 total races... But there might be a good size number of sub factions. You pick a race (you don't create a new race but you can do some visual changes and maybe change so
In my gut 2-4 races sounds about right. With less races, there is more lore for each race you make. With expansions you can add more stock races later on. But Ya even I mostly use custom factions... So more custom options there are, the more I won't mind the low number of stock races... Make having mixed races in a city a feature and when making armies. It will make things way more interesting!
