Not anymore? Every comparison I've read between IE7 and Firefox has said Firefox is still better, the easiest one to find would be CNETs comparison. Numerous IE7 features already exist in Firefox AND within a month of release all of IE7's new anti-phishing stuff was deemed all but completely useless and the security features in general are still lacking, where as Firefox's anti-phishing and security is still intact. EDIT- Also, you don't have to wait years and years for Firefox

Well, to get the right sizes I copied the Heavy Equipment logon skins bottom and top panel images and then replaced them with my images, and when I had the H.E. images on the skin I tested it to ensure they were the right size and they worked. So image size isn't the issue, and once I get a new network card for my computer (obviously the one I'm using to write this isn't mine) I'll send a copy your way Boss just in case you can figure it out.

Logon Studio issue in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Ok, I'm working on a new logon skin...in the preview in Logon Studio it looks perfect, but when I load it up the image for the bottom panel has been cut in half with the top half now on the bottom. Any idea what's causing this?

dammit, thats annoying that the one Tycus linked was never released...all the others based on WMP11 modify bits and change bits, that one is pretty much spot on...its exactly what im after...all the others have little twists and colour changes and what not...

This could already exist, I just haven't seen anything like it.... A widget in the shape of a button or switch or whatever that when clicked will shutdown any programs in a list. Is there something like this? Or is it possible?

Is there a way to make desktop icons invisible and "unclickable", if you will, so that you can just have a desktop x suite button that has a drop down menu for all the icons on your desktop?

Thats a great idea...I am a huge MGS fan myself...hell I'd make one but my skills are nowhere near good enough yet for any major skinning bootskins and logons are it for me atm but yeah, I second this motion for a MGS skin, it would be bodacious to say the least.

Hey guys, recently I submitted a bootskin to the site, but it got rejected...the reason for being rejected was that it was "not a bootskin", now that kinda has me confused because it IS a bootskin. a widget or a program that looks like a dtX object or a widget or just a regular icon but when you click on it a drop down list appears with other shortcuts in it, i'd like to have a single object or icon that i can click on that opens a drop down list full of shortcuts to all my games. any idea if such a thing exists?

Why is it that every image I try to use for a bootskin comes out all distorted and crap when I use skinstudio to prepare it but all the bootskins in the gallery here look fine? With every image I have used I have tried every possible combination of "resampling" and "dither" all to no avail...whats the go?
