My favorite Vista skin for WB6 on XP can be found here . When he says its for WB5 only I believe he meant not for versions before 5 as I have absolutely no problems running it in 6 (with blurred transparencies and all).

It doesn't happen on initial boot, it happens randomly when a custom skin is active. When the built-in windows theme is used it doesn't happen. It strongly appears to be related to the explorer.exe process because when it happens it always happens when explorer needs to access media (cdrom, hd, reading menu items in start menu, etc.). I think it may be some kind of timeout on a resource - Windows hangs until the timeout is over. That's as far as I've gotten trying to fix it. Logging

I have the latest version of Windowblinds 5 as installed by stardock central. The issue I'm running into is that when I'm using a custom skin with windowblinds the computer becomes unresponsive. For example when I go to the start button then all programs then a group it will just hang there for a few minutes then the menu items will appear.
