Thats what I got from it too. I am wondering if its possible to find more without having to destroy someones capital.

It hit me in the Galactic Civ 2 campaign when I saw a planet named Midkemia and another one named Kelewan.

I have two and a half questions about shards. Will it be possible to exert influence over multiple shards of differeing types? Will shards be treated in a Disciples 2 fashion where they are clamed and the magic from them is a resource? If not how then?

Is it just me or are there similarities between the lore of this game and that of The Riftwar Cycle right after the Chaos Wars? Then again there is so much fantasy its nearly impossible to create a totaly original universe; then again considering the name of the company and some of their previous easter eggs... As an aside, I am considering doing a Riftwar Cycle mod if time allows after release...

Great idea, I am in the National Guard as well as some of my friends and we are often places with poor internet that is suitable for email only.

Thats great. I was hoping that randomly generated maps would be availible.
