No crash this time, but after saving the game, exiting, and restarting, the game reloads with an empty map (no units, no cities, only fog of war). I have not tried previous saves yet. I have autosave set to every turn. Also playing with a few mods, but I don't think they are causing any issues (Expanded Factions, Adventuring Content Pack, Updated Weapons). It has been my experience that monsters' (and the AI's in general) defense is always rather weak (armour is not effectively used). It is not just an issue of focusing solely on attack/defense (armour) though, but includes the AI's ability to adapt to the dangers it encounters. I have to say that this game has improved a lot! The AI is getting much better and I can actually say its starting to challenge me. I am glad Stardock knows what customer service and appreciation means! That all said, I can't play the game. Well, I can as long as I never turn it off (or it does't decide to quit on its own). Elemental crashes to desktop, with no message, a couple of seconds into loading the included save game. It also crashes when loading several other of the most recent saves. If I go back far enough a save will load, but the map is empty (no units, no cities, only fog of war).
