I've had a game where my dynasties screen was messed up. My first child (a female) appeared to be married to my Wife, while have a second child together :p They still showed up fine in the game though.

Aha, thx!
Every time I try to upload any image as my avatar on these forums I get: Upload Error: Code:-200 Message: 500 The upload will now be cancelled, please try again. And Yea, Ive resized it within the limits
It doesn't always work though, often I create a sovereign, save it, go back to see him in the selection menu to find he isn't there afterall
I definatly prefer the character that I created myself to be a useable hero. If there's one thing about Kings Bounty I don't like, it's that you have this shiny hero, but you can't use him in battle.
Yea they look really nice. Altough they didn't look bad before, it's a massive improvement imo
Quoting cammagno74, reply 21I disagree, I like the random name generator and the names it produces (they have the right 'flavor' for me), and I really hate the predefined names of cities (probably the thing that I hated more in Civ4 You think names like "Ooukkzisu" and "Fuririaaoarr" have the right flavor? In what world? The gibberish world? I mean they dont even sound fantasy'ish or foreign, they just sound like german-angr
Some of the female armors in the "old armor" mod look really good, 1 in particular (the one with the quiver) looks awesome. Makes you wonder why they didn't put it in. I usually keep leave my females in their normal clothes (some of those look nice atlest) and give them bows. The heavy armors look terrible on females. They don't even look good on males sometimes.
I usually play small-normal maps, and I often get big continents. There's always some choke points either through water or mountains though. And I've had maps with Islands yea. I never build harbours, but I remember this one map where I elevated all the land upto an island because one of the quests wanted me to go there.
Ah I see, thx for the swift response :p
"2. Enter \data\English subfolder. Make a backup copy of your current CoreEyes.xml. Then overwrite your CoreEyes.xml with the one in the mod." I think I must be going blind cause I can't find that file anywhere withint the mod. Also, none of the new heads seem to work for me, they all have a weird skin
I don't understand how it's not common gaming knowledge that patches generally invalidate old game saves.
I dunnow about that though... I mostly play rpg's, and it would be pretty damn annoying if you had to start over after 30 hours ingame because of a patch :p But in this game, the fun is starting a kingdom and exloring/expanding so it's quite different.
The wife is always running around in my games. They still make children. Usually I make her a mage as well and give her a bow.
It's not an MMO so persistance is really no consideration at all. Come to think of it, I haven't actually finished a game, yet. I was in a winning position several times already but I knew I had won. Why bother going through the moves and roll over the helpless AI?
Same here, I never won a game. Closest I got was running around with Sarog (the dragon from the quest) and pretty much one shotting
I'm new to the community and I rather like what I'm seeing. Rarely seen developers work so hard to improve something and admitting mistakes were made. Maybe I just missed all of the horrible posts (or I subconsiously avoid them). I've bought more than one game that had some kind of default, and 0 support for weeks rendering it unplayable so I don't see how anyone can complain about Elemental with the efforts beeing made.
I wouldn't want melee warriors in bikines, but I wouldn't mind seeing the armor accustomed to the more elegant female shapes/ Sometimes I see one of the enemy females run around in just a Plate breastplate, and it's less than flattering.
Without question. I'll start a new game anyway, even if you can play your old saves (wich I think is very unlikely with the amount of changes)
It is true that your scrambling a bit at teh very start. If your unlucky, you have no mine and sometimes a few monsters who are a bit too strong to take down right away. But usually once you get get a bit of a decent party with bows or some decent armor you can earn money fairly easy. I usually leave my city's unprotected for a while since I can't affort much troops at the very start. I've only seen a city of mine destroyed once though by some random creature pack. Usually they only t
I'd like to see those things as well. And maybe events and quests related to your children. Perhaps a quest where one of your babies gets sick and you get a quest to find some healing herbs to save them within so many round or else (s)he dies. perhaps speed up the aging of your sovereign slightly so that they eventually die of age (don't now if they actually do that now or not?) and the son becomes the new Sovereign a bit faster. And then perhaps have the equipe
Any chance to give them atleast a basic club for free? It's pretty much a waste of points anyway. I usually give him no weapon and then buy one at my first city. Same for the armor, why would be spend so much points buying armor if we can get one for 30g fairly fast? Maybe have your sovereign start with the armor if you select it, but make him start with a bit less gold so we can atleast use our points for usefull things like actual stats or magic books.
Is it just me, or does everyone just give a bow to all his troops and kill everything before it even reaches your lines? Kinda silly that there's alot of creatures out there with 60+ attack, but almost no defence whatsoever. So it would be kinda silly to go up against them with melee since they usually get one shotted. But you can easily kill them with just archers and maybe some magic. I don't use alot of magic, I usually make my wife a mage and my sovereign a melee warrior. But once
You can only marry them to other factions I think. Atleast I haven't found a way otherwise. I tend to not marry off my daughters cause then you lost a unit, while if you marry a son then you gain the daughter of another faction. Unless one of my daughters turns out really ugly, then it's byebye. I like the dynasty system, but it's sad that by the time you get any children to join you the game has become pretty much a grindfest where you can kill a
I bought the limited edition and got a lot of cool stuff in the box, including a minature tin dragon. So yeah, they are probably in the game somewhere.
Yea, I did that quest and it's way overpowered. I can oneshot anything without moving
I had that too yesterday. I just reloaded my game and it seemed to work. He was in a party, but had that ability where everyone moves at his speed. When I took him out of the party he could move normal though. Try reloading I'd say
I can't seem to load my AutoSave and PreviousAutoSave. They get stuck in the loadingscreen for ages. Tried loading my last manual save from the same game and that seemed to work. This save was 3 hours before the autosaves though so this is kinda annoying :(
