I think people might be starting to realize the power of minion builds. -Drain its support. My Sedna build, for example, gets the +24 hp/s aura, which also buffs priests. By late game, my already-poewrful minion army is being healed every 8 seconds by a ridiculous amount by the two priests. Even on other generals, priests are amazing support. Take out any priests, they will make life hell for you. If you have a Sedna on your team, tell him to get counterhealing ASAP. MA

Hint: the reason you've not won any games that it seemed like you would lose was because you stopped trying.
Not 25% per level difference. 10%, per level, I'd say, up to 70% difference.
So why do people bother with Pantheon?
Alright. I'm really trying to figure out the point of playing Pantheon or multiplayer Skirmish here. In my experience, at least one person fails to connect. One person almost ALWAYS get stuck with an AI. If the game hates you, then you wotn even get an AI...and it'll be 1v2. These issues don't seem to exist in custom games. Am I the only one who notices this? Or is the problem on my end, and the connection info window just fails to notice this?</p
One more question. The Priest Healing page says that they can heal anyone within 10 meters. How far exactly does this translate to ingame?
You are also a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks
You are a gentleman and a scholar. Any place that lists how each level of the yeti skill boosts them?
I've looked all over. I can find stats for pretty much everything in the game, including the "generic" minions, but not the minions unique to specific demigods. More specifically, I'm looking for the stats on Sedna's yetis.
Depends. I play a minion-focused Sedna build. Buffing the Yeti skill directly will give me more of a boost for the yetis themselves, but if I have the cash for good minotaurs/siege archers, I'll put extra points into the Minion skill.
When you go into a game, you have a general idea of what your DG is going to play like. Unless you wait 10 minutes to start buying stuff, start choosign skillpoints, and choose your favor items. I have a Sedna build, which i would not mind posting on these forums. This does not mean that I wont, say, prioritize counter healing if they get early priests...or go for Silence (Where I normally don't) if I need it...or go for more Minion skill and less Yeti skill if I happen
I used to have a problem with it as sedna...now I just buy monks early game and hug them.
Zygwen, only if the player is a retard will he die to a minion build. That's not what it's for. While minion builds aren't very good for killing DGs, they still can. You forget that Sedna is still pretty fast; if another DG is wounded, Sedna can many times chase him down and kill him...with the minions right behind if he tries to fight
They are probably better then Shamblers and arent terrible - but the fact is that all of her other moves are 10x better then Yeti summoning. Heal, Punce, Healing wind + silence and maginifence silence and + hp/movement. All better then Yeti's easily.
If those all existed in a vaccum you'd be entirely correct. Except abilities synergize with each other, and getting one ability doesn't stop you from getting others. <p
Actually some damn good ideas there. Thanks
Alright. I'm a new player who is also a Sedna whore. I can find a use for most abilities...but really, Silence has me confused. It sounds like it -could- be useful...but I'm not sure how. It has a steep cost (800 mana) and only stops enemies for three seconds. Could be useful when EB jumps into my army and is about to stun it...but three seconds isn't a long time. He'll just wait it out and do it. Is there something I'm missing about this skill?</
It's not that her minions are inherently weaker. As stated somewhere in the thread, one-for-one, yetis are actually the best Yetis AREN'T amazing...alone. Try to get the minion skill up, and get the 24 hp/sec regen aura early on. I totally ignore pounce; it's unneeded. The problem is that yetis are mana-intensive and don't work too well as a "Side-skill". If you go for yetis, you need to dedicate yourself to a more minion-focused build...as opposed to a healbot with pounce. &n
Yetis are facking awesome. Not on their own, but in combination with other minions and the right skills, they're amazing. Put a couple points into the minion boosting skill tree, get the 24 hp/sec health aura, and get some decent "regular" minions (esp. priests) to back up your yetis and you have a damn powerful little army. It doesn't really work without the yetis because the minotaurs, while decent, just can't fight like yetis can.
I like the current system. It enhances the individuality of the characters. Assassins are built to be loners (aside from teammates of course) whereas generals generally lead a small army. And, as stated above, balance issues...Regulus with minions to tank for him?
Alright. Rather than posting a new thread... I'm assuming multiplayer skirmishes do not have persistant favor points. Am I wrong in this? Can you ever get more favor points than those you start with?
According to this , you have to do 25% damage or get the killing blow to get gold/xp from it. Which is it?
Currency I: +4 gold/second Currency II: +6 Gold/second So with Currency I and Currency II, doy ou have +6 gold/second or +10 gold/second? edit question #2. If you're off somewhere else, but your minions kill enemy stuff...do you get gold/exp?
I'm referring to the upgrade. I'm sure other generals have it too, but Setna has a set of skills that boost the power of her minions. Does that apply to the minions she has to buy idols for AND the yetis, or just the former?
That doesn't sound like it's worth the cost. What about the second question?
What, then ,do the "Reduced death penalty" citadel upgrades do? Also, would the minion upgrade skills boost the summoned units (like Setna's yetis) or just the "generic" minions (minotaurs, etc)
