Norton!! nurf it and get Zone alarm security suite...works a treat! Only runs 1 process and that's for a firewall. anti-spy and anti-virus. Page File - What have you got it set to? I have 1.5gig of ram and 5.5gig page file, all this with a P4 3.06 and a 7600gt. I think there may be a very rare 2500bc anomaly in DA. I have seen this once, and i make about 4 to 5 survey scouts. So i get a great share of the anomalies out there. It was far more common on DL of course. <img src="http

Against the computer is all it is. The difference between Meta games and normal is that with the Metaverse the rules are the same for every one. No mods are allowed, and your scores are uploaded to the Metaverse. You don't have to join an empire, but if you do all your scores along with others of your empire are tallied and that gives you the rankings. I'm usually falling behind them fairly early. I can usually keep up only by trading, and then only with the minor races, thanks to the new changes. I quite often have to give up three of my techs for one of theirs. This being the case, go for Diplomatic Translators. My gripe is only when you have someone post a about something (like this) and then, less than a week later, having users start to impatiently say "I can't believe Stardock hasn't fixed this!" As if, by magic, a post on a forum trsnaltes into an update a week later. Ok fair enough, impatient we may be.
