They can be completly covered by another's influence now, but they work the same, you walk up to them and can buy their gear even if your influence covers them. But, there is only one minor nation now, and although they sell unique, and cool armor, it can only be worn by males of the human "Men" race. You can't level up a neutral town, I think they cap at 40 pop with no houses built and never level up, so they cant get to a level 2 or 3, or antyihg like that, you can build all the houses you want, but they won't "level". Kael, you should hire me man, I know the game[e digicons];P[/e]

Some things I had happen are that my game crashed after getting Janusk, then when it loaded back up to the turn before the crash, there was no more Janusk and he never showed up. I was able to build a Market before researching Civics.

It never equips new things, as far as I can tell. If they hire champions, they will never have better equipment than what they start with.

Vandenburg: AI doesn't equip its champions with new stuff HeavenFall: AI won't equip shields I can confirm those two also. Although, there really isn't a good reason to equip a shield...the bonus isn't usually worth giving up using a two handed weapon.
I've only seen the AI use mounts once, and it was a Quendar (sp?) on a horse...never did figure that one out...but that was a long time ago.
Would be cool if both Empires and Kingdoms could use Worgs and Horses.
Well said Frogboy, I actually posted that I got my butt kicked by the AI awhile back...and it even wasn't on ridiculous Some thigngs that could make them better is that they could group better, instead of two groups of 4 units coming after a city, and both failing, one group of 8 would have succeeded.

It is trying to be, the basics are there, but there is no story. In FFH2, we had Armageddon, we had a pretty good understanding of the relationships between a lot of the nations, their motivations of the rulers, the world had landmarks and such. The world has no story in the game. The elements (not a pun) are there, and the book provided some of that. If I find some mystical library, how can I find it just about anywhere? Or Azors armor?
