It appears that all LE Editions were not shipped Aug. 24. When I questioned [email protected] I was told my copy only shipped Sep. 1. It appears that shipments were in batches.

I had a similar problem with the Crystal production. Here is what I found and How I corrected it: 1. Build a Mining town near the abandoned Mining town. 2 Build a Crystal Mine. 3. Important:Have your Sovereign stay stationed at the town until 50 crystals have been produced, If the Sov. moves away from the Town it seems to invalidate some flag, even coming back to the town the quest is never completed. A message in the Campaign should state that the Sovereign mu
It doesn't appear to be in Canada either.
I suggest not removing the Locations but tagging them with a quest completed marker of some type.
Also the Soverign selection is identical between games. Satartin g a new game the Same Sov. name and race appear on the selection screen.
One Problem I've found is it's almost impossible to get a City up to Level 5. 1250 people means building 50 Huts (25 people each) or 25 Houses (50 people Each). Another problem is the 3rd stage of the campaign where I have to deliver 50 crystals, I go back to the city and nothing is triggered to accept the crystals and I can't approach the fortress I always get the message to complete the production task. Am I doing something wrong in this part of the quest, created the new mi
Enjoy your Vacation, spend time with the Family and try to avoid email for a few days.
The only agriculture City Bonus I've found so far is Irrigation which gives +25% Food Bonus.
Only the Sov. and recruited heroes can buy equipment from the shop. Allowing to buy multiple similar items is the easy way to equip other army units (NPCs).
With the exception of the beta 3d and 1.01 releases I haven't had significant problems with the game. As it is I find it playable and a lot of fun. I appreciate all the extra work everyone has put into it to get it ready for release, and expect even better improvements in the future. I don't regret the buying Elements and from a software viewpoint I have seen far worse releases by far bigger companies (one of which I worked at).
One Quest in the campaign is to Kill the Ogre who destroyed the Mining Town and Then Produce 25 Crystals. I Created a Town near the Destroyed Mine and started to Mine for Crystals but how do I finish the Quest, I only seem to have mined 1 crystal? Ive waited 200 turns but see any other crystals produced.
If you can't expand the city due to lack if food, there is a spell which allows extra food production. I will give one extra Point of Food which might be enough to Expand the city. As has been stated in other posts food is meant to be scarce due to how barren some areas are. helpful hint: When Founding a City always ensure there are at least 2 food sources nearby.
Yes Shipping was included in the Price, I believe I had to pay an extra $20 to get UPS Shipping to Canada.
I'm happy the City Stat screen show what Buildings have been produced. I notice the Tech Tree has changed for the better and appreciate some of the new city enhancements especially Irrigation in the Civilization branch and all the new Items in Warfare, it looks like a lot was added to Fortification. I haven't really looked at Adventure, Magic or Diplomacy research branches yet. It will probably be a while until someone has charted the complete Production Tree, it should be interesting
Having had to work a few weekends to meet software deployment deadlines and knowing how tough it is, I'd like to also voice my appreciation to the entire Stardock team.
I like the Quest marker improvements. The different glows will allow locating the higher level quests. I also approve of the external resource selection not requiring being in city construction mode ity makes more sense that way.
Wow you can build on hills/mountains now. Thankfully I upgraded my Pre-order to the Limited edition a few days ago. Cloth Maps and Real Manuals make it well worth the money.
It is possible to build multiple Buildings because there is no status summary of what has be built. Without needing to Cursor over the entire City I'd like to determine what structures have already been built, which would make it easier to determine what to build next. By mistake I sometimes build multiple Markets of multiple Bazars.
The Quests involving Darklings usually have unusual stats. , the Darklings always show up as a large negative number. I'd almost say it's a buffer overflow due to a memory leak but it happens earlier in the game also.
That was why I asked for better markers, I couldn't see them on the 3d view and needed to zoom out to the cloth map.
One Sim game that hasn't been mentioned is Ascendancy, I loved how you could customize you space ship. It soft of a mix of StarFlight and MOO.
I think to get GFW Certification the Install and User Files must be in the default location.
having worked in the Software Industry for 10+ years Technical Beta is the way to go. It's better to get the core concepts functioning properly then proceed with the spit and polish. I've seen examples where the Devs concentrated on the UI and did the Technical work last it never ends well and usually delays the project drastically. I've seen one Enterprise Project take 6 years before even considering allowing for a Demo and it took another 2 years to get a usable product. Stardock re
How about putting the Adventure Level on the Quest Marker as a numerical value.
Running the Current Beta (0.98) I notice that the Quest Markers are not always visible when using the Graphics, I usually need to Zoom out to the Cloth map mode to see them. Suggestion: Instead of a yellow highlight can there be a Unique identifier used to show the quest location something like a star or a flag to make it easier to locate.
