It didn't say it wasn't compatible with old saves, I only saw that on the blog AFTER I got the update, if it was somewhere in the update, it was not obvious at all. (No, I don't check change logs line-by-line) I'm aware of the reason the decision was made, they should just warn people. I updated this morning because a new patch was out, cool I thought. Then I couldn't load up my campaign, granted I only spent a few hours in there (I play slowly) and was having fun, but now I can't load my game that I was becoming invested in and excited about, 'immersed' if you will. That really sucks. I'm sure you guys try to keep a patch from breaking save game files, but if it cannot be done, you need to warn us that we can't load previous versions, I see it's out on the blog and that's

I'm sorry I don't have that save game file anymore, I had submitted these couple errors after I stopped playing, I'm sorry next time I'll try to remember to do that. Still though for #2, I bet its reproducible, I think it had something to do with my 2nd guy dying in the last round of battle, the results screen just didn't pick up the stats for that last round or something, just a hunch.

1. My unit was attacked by a spider with 'poison shot' and I couldn't identify anywhere in the UI that my unit was being poisoned each turn, this would make it hard to 'cure' if I had such a spell, which I would imagine there is one. Regardless, I should know which units are being affected by ailments. 2. I lost two units in combat but the results screen at the end of the battle displayed I had only lost 1 unit. The reason I suspect, is I lost the last unit on the last turn of the bat

I had a hard time detertmining how to recreate this, I'm sorry about that, but I have been able to eventually recreate it in a matter of minutes upon starting the game. Basically the game will start scrolling on it's own at a slow, consistent and noticeable pace as a result of me zooming in and out while panning the gameplay view. In fact twice this occurred while just playing the game normally then I tried to recreate it and I can, I just can't see any pattern to what's causing it. O
