LOL, really? You need tech to committ genocide? Mankind has been committing genocide since the dawn of time.

How much power do we have to create neutral units not tied to any faction like roaming monsters? Do we have to use pre set graphics models for the various monsters (but be able to change their stats?) or is their a way to create unique graphics to represent monsters we want to create?
Anyone else experience this?
I started a new game and happened to have my SOV start on a gold mine resource. As I moved around, I could not build my first city anywhere! It told me that I had to build on an empty tile. I was doomed that game, as I could not build my first city. I think this is a bug resulting if your SOV happens to begin on a non-empty tile.
I have to disagree. RTS is about making quick decisions under pressure. In a turn based game you have all day to fart around and can take 2 hours for your next turn if you want (single player anyway). Sure, speed at the mouse and keyboard helps as well, but any good RTS should force some "pressured strategic thought" on the players. Granted, sometimes the decisions are obvious (aka, I am being zerged to death, so I need sieg tanks pronto), but other times you have to q
Yeah it sucks that you can't fight in cities. I don't get to cheat with my sovreign hit and run tactic... [e digicons][/e]
This happens to me occasionally as well. The game will just quietely completely turn off my PC and I have to turn it back on.
Everything aside, how do we explain away climategate? Mumble, do you beleive climategate is 100% lies against the scientists? Could at least some of the emails where they try to cover up the data be true? What is your take on climategate? Also, why are the elites of the world such hypocrits? The loudest defenders of global warming are some of the most hypocritical. The elites are the ultimate example of do as I say and not as I do. Wh
Rest assured that al gore will never ever ever have to give up his private jet. You will have to drive in a pure piece of crap electric golf car, but al gore will still have his private jet and his mansions that spew more carbon dioxide than 1000 of us. The elites are all exempt as they have been throughout all of history.
People for global warming pointed to the 2005 hurricane season and mild winter as evidence of man made global warming. The same people say that you cant use the year 2009, with its cold and snowy winters and mild hurricane season to say global warming doesn't exist. WTF? So you guys can just pick and choose years to prove your theory?
Whether global warming is real or not rest assured that the prophet al gore will never ever everr give up his private jet. We are just pathetic underlings to be smashed under the bootheels of the powerful government, corporation, whatever. Whatever rules are pushed on us will never apply to the elite. ever.
I could care less about EA. I might have bought a game they published back in the 20th but I certainly don't remember the EA brand as part of any such forgotten purchase, and best I can tell they could give a shit for my taste as an entertainment software consumer because I prefer thinking to clicking. And I wish I had a socialist government to hate, but alas I'm obliged to live under the thumb of multinational corporatism. No one on stage in D
I have realised lately that store sell mostly console games and there are less and less PC games than there were before. Some people have even said that consolve games have improved so much than PC games are more than likely to dissapears, except of course for some small games like chess, hearts, etc. It is true that the console world made a lot of improvements. Console games are now as powerful as PC games, they allow you to play online and they do
EA is the epitome of capitalism, a large and exceedingly wealthy organization that has become so enamored of the charts illustrating the steady growth of their wealth that their leaders have lost all meaningful contact with both the people they employ and the customers they have won. Sound like a government to you? That's because major corporations and governments are the same class of organism--large-scale formal organizations that tend to 'institutionally forget' the reasons the
luckily video games do not have the power to oppress people.
And all powerful socialist government can't oppress? Nazi Germany? The Red Terror? Cahirman Mao? Fidel Castro? Based on history, I will take my chances with the free market. A government powerful enough to give you everything you can ever want or need is strong enough to take everything away - Thomas Jeff
Here is how to stop piracy. Make it an actual crime. If you are caught, you face a year in prison or a $5000 fine. simple. Sure, your odds of being caught might be less than 1%. But if you were caught you would wish you had never done it.
Brad Wardell has a bigger house than you I bet. Are you going to raise a pitchfork against him? If so, you should immeditaely divest yourself of all stardock products because frog boy is a vile capitalist worthy of scorn and contempt. Rich people also can get more food than poor people. As long as you get enough to eat whats the big deal? You want more money and more food (if you choose to buy food), then work harder, get educated, take more risks, etc. <p
michaelcook, both republicans and democrats are corrupt beyond recognition. The dems take plenty of handouts too.
food is arguably more important than health care. We will all die without food, but some of us may be able to limp along without health care. However, food sale is very free market. Now, we can't leave something as important as food to the whims of the free market right? sjouldn't we have government take immediate control of all food production? If health care is too important to leave to the whims of the free market, then what about food?????
i do think assisted suicide should be legal as long as it is completely voluntary and it can be shown you are of sound enough mind to make that decision. If not, then it should be up to the family. Government should not be in the decision.
there already seems to be enough to do in this game. I desire for this game to not get as detailed and complicated as space empires V. One button to build between cities is ok
by voluntary I mean voluntary by the old person or the old person's family (in cases where gramps is a vegetable).
no beta yet, when is it comming out today??
as long as end of life counseling is 100% voluntary, then sure I would pay for it as part of an insurance plan.
the video game industry of which we are such gracious customers of is as pure free market as you can get. I shudder to think wwhat socilaized video gaming would look like. think Atari ET times a thousand.
