I think this is happening when you culturally or physically conquer planets from another player, either leaving behind residual culture or cultural borders are not being reset properly within a Zone of Control.
xeryx
The AI influence is skipping over the borders, and then changing influence behind enemy lines. This should not be the way it is. I should push back your borders, and nothing else. Also, there should not be a way to build a more than a few influence structures on planet. Just like a space station would be limited. Influence is very powerful, and I for one do not like what is happening in my game as well. I lost a very good planet that is 8 hexes away from th
Into my second game on hard, The first was just to cut my teeth. I really have some issues with the AI and some suggestions that will make fleet management easier. I am sure that some of these items have been mentioned before, but there is nothing like a little re-enforcement to get the point across. I will also refer to the AI in 2 separate areas, battle (BAI) and campaign (CAI). I also want you to understand my background. I mod strategy games, I have modded Moo3, Jagged alliance
@ ron Lugge...it's a little early to be having crack for breakfast isn't it...LOL I am sure the developers will understand what I am saying.
Hey guys, Just started playing Sins, on single player of course. Understand that I am an Old timer and a Master of Strategy Games. I will keep this brief Here are just a few things I think need improved. 1) A planets "gravity well" The whole thought of it does not really work. Here is why, It's fine to have your system turrets and all of your research stations within a close proximity to the planet. There is not sufficient room for EFFICIENT fleet combat in a system.
Here are some of the 1.010 B2 that I have noticed. Miniturization is not consistant between components or hulls. Wouldn't it be better to use a multiplier for the hull class. so the size, power, and cost are scalable to the hull size. (I'm thinking mod here) I would love some pointer help so I know, how the techs effect the components. Still losing texture maps on some ships when loading them up. to upgrade. <br
I happen to agree with YBUSS, However I figured out that you can have 60% taxes, this will catch you up in other things. I definately think there need to be some rebalancing. But I was able to pull ahead of them. The thing that is KILLING me is the Ship Editor. 1) When you use the update ship, you get the cannot put this item on here because there is no space. When you update, the components are removed. However I believe that they are only physically removed.
Since installing the Dual core driver the game has ran great. I have not experienced a single CTD. I am encluding the log incase I did not notice something. (A file attachment would be much easier) BUGS NOTICED 1)I have encountered, the end turn problem. 2) I have not encountered ANY anomalies in this game. So using the SURVEY option does not seem to work (and yes I have anomalies on) I may be that I did not get to them. 3) Planet

First off, I want to thank you. Thank you very much., for creating such a great and open game!!!I have been a Moo, Civ, and Xcom fan for years. I started gaming in the Ultima Days. Moo was definately one of my favorites. However, when At*&^ released Moo 3. At first, I was so excited, and then all I wanted to do was send them a bomb. For ruining such a good franchise, and treating thier customers with such blatent disrespect. I made a mod for Moo 3, but became so frustrated with it. With th
