I think this is a heck of a game. City building is a blast. The art is lovely. One more turn addiction-check. One area that I feel is rather anemic at the moment is in the sound department. Ambient sound in the world, tactical battle sounds, generic move order responses...all are very weak. The battle sounds bother me the most as they are so low key at the moment, battles aren't particularly immersive. I need more and varied cries, shouts, gurgles, the clash of metal on metal, animal

I'm not a Chick adherent--Jack or Tom.
There are going to issues. Frankly, however, I lost interest when the reviewer began by noting that space is a boring setting for a game.
Well, I hope this is something that might be easily modded in by some intrepid person. Naming regions too--uber cool idea. If I recall correctly, one can name landmarks in Fall from Heaven 2.
Is it possible to name landmarks and terrain features (ie. mountain ranges, deserts, battle sites, etc) in sandbox mode the same way one names units and cities? Or is landmark naming a feature only available in the modding toolbox?
I've noted on a large map the distinct lack of wandering monsters and ruins/goodies. As in three hundred turns and no monsters whatsoever. Have started half a dozen different large maps on this build. Maybe the smaller ones are populated...? Yeah food is tough, but I'm sorting out the system and like it.
Yeah. I have a big overpowered desktop and this latest build crashes pretty much nonstop. The game is going to be killer when it's ironed out. Probably going to be on the hard drive for many years.
A X post, but the possibility of exiling/imprisoning/executing rebellious generals and/or family members would be a terrific gameplay element. The opportunities for political intrigue when deciding to exile that conniving younger prince would be exceptional.
Hi, all -- new to the board, although I've played GalCiv and SE for a while. Dynasty = awesome. I dearly hope the team considers an option that allows sovereigns to exile/imprison/execute rebellious generals and family members -- but especially exile. I don't think it's an overly complex layer of detail and it would set up truly delightful opportunities for intrigue and political repercussions...
