I really would like to see a game taking the best features of both- there's some things in AOW3 that drive me nuts because of LH, and vice versa.
Completely agree. I'm going to write a post now and hope you might contribute to it!

Yeah, I'm interested in hearing more (legitimate) information on 1.6 and the spouse DLC. After playing AOW3 for some time, it makes me appreciate FE:LH even more. The more you can build on this game, the more likely the next installment will sit at the top of the Steam charts like Age of Wonders has. I plan on writing a post soon on what I think LH can learn from AOW3, though. There are some good things (item courier!) that could be carr
There are definitely some things that AOW does better here than FE:LH, but I'm wishing that AOW learned some of the lessons that FE did. More to come, but there are definitely strengths and weaknesses here in comparison to one another. Also, graphics aren't quite as good as I expected, but gameplay > graphics.
It's basically a more focused Fallen Enchantress and has always been the genre leader in tactical combat. Most people refer to AOW1 or Shadow Magic when considering "combat done well" in 4X games. Those sieges that people want so badly for FE? They're usually referencing Age of Wonders. It's true fantasy in that it has the fantasy races you'd expect. It's 4X, but much more focused on combat. It's been in development since before Civ V came out, so contrar
Quoting ten9, reply 18 It doesn't sound like you know the previous games. They have their own engine. Simplistic?! You obviously do not know what you are talking about. You do not have to like it, but do move on if you don't have anything meaningful to say about it. No! You move on if you have nothing more to do than insult people, fan person.
Go away, Tat
I don't like it.
Cool story.
Technically, it's still not "ready"....
Been playing it a bit and it's definitely an upgrade. I didn't *really* like the first one, but this one has some serious shades of brilliance. There are still some weird quirks (I have to watch ALL of my allies every move??!) but the game looks much prettier, the UI is much improved, the new races are fun and the new campaign is really great. It's not as deep as say, Civ 5 with expansions, but it is much deeper than it was before and a LOT more fun. I reall
So what gives? I've been buying all the DLC in hopes of more patches, more expansions and more DLC, too! What is the plan moving forward? Are you still updating LH or are you moving on to GalCiv and other projects? Please let us (me) know!!!
Bump for answer from Brad (See above)

Yes, please. No more teases, though! :)
Plus, I'll add, Killzone MULTIPLAYER is the best game of the launch. It's so well balanced and fun. So yeah....
I bought both, but flipped the One. I've seen games running on both and I can tell the difference. PS4 looks better. I'm am xbox guy normally as I like their exclusives better, but I'm sticking with the playstation this generation. Sony had done so many things right that it's hard to not stay with them. I could afford both, but I don't have time for both. </p
Oh, crap, I should check my address on file then. I haven't seen anything....
Speaking of which, do you guys plan to support SteamOS? What about the new engine, Brad?
LH is the first game since Dragon Age: Origins that I've put more than fifty hours in to. With my limited time, there are only a handful of games I feel compelled to play more than a dozen hours, and this was one of them. To me, especially considering that I got it for free, that makes me a fan for life. I don't know of another company I respect as much as I respect Brad and Stardock. The naysayers are a small, dumb-as-rocks minority. <
I was the first to reply to your honey offer and I never heard anything after that... Was that offer rescinded?
Civilization V with expansions is the best 4x game of all time, of you ask me. Far superior to Endless Space. Your call, though ;)
Seriously, Frog? That shit looks SO DAMN GOOD, I'm literally drooling over here. I want to throw $100 at it, but I'm reticent to do so without an idea of when I'll actually see a return. When is open Alpha scheduled? And how does it already look so complete? How long are you going to hold open the Founders thing?
These are persistent and frustrating bugs. Your game is very close to legendary, but dumb AI behaviors and persistent glitches are frustrating. Please...
Uh, why?
Oh yeah, the most annoying quirk is the AI sovereign stockpiling issue. Can that be fixed?
