I remain unimpressed with the iPhones (albeit I didn't try the new ones)... the enV Touch (which a friend has) seems to work faster, have higher quality, better coverage, and allow for standard phone features (such as MMS) that the iPhone seems to lack. I'd get an iPhone, but I'm not willing to switch from my trusty Verizon service...
not to speak poorly of my prefered service (Impulse)... but: Look at the sheer # of connected users using the servers to download. It's a little unfair, it's like comparing some startup social networking site to MySpace/facebook... I'm glad it's fast. But if there was a million more users downloading from it would it be equally as fast?
I'd like to see it bundled with our Box for preOrder customers as well :-)

I picked up Evochron Legends and Sword of the Stars Ultimate. I was only a little bummed because of the price of SotS... but I already owned the original game on Impulse, and wanted to gift it to somebody since I now owned the anthology. Alas, there is no such system in place :-(

I had a similar concept... we do away with unemployment and instead open centers with cycles where people generate power. People get paid to go cycle... and we do away with needlessly paying people money cause they're too lazy to go find jobs... the problem is this will put a few business out of business.
to be honest? I don't use the file sharing portion... when transfering big files (such as art) I find it freezes both my computers till the file is "copied"... if you're copying a file to the same computer, and accidentally copy-mouseover to other computer, it thinks that'st he destination and begins the file transfer. The quick fix is just to create a shared folder on both your computers (or 3, or whatever) and do it the old fashion way. I've found it both simpl

To add to my previous statement (I just said it in IRC): I'd rather have the depth and tell them "this needs to be easier" then have it too easy and get bored of the game quickly.
I say develop Camp 1's plan, and simplify as result of feedback from the Testers. Perhaps there's a mid-ground the 2 camps can meet at that Beta Tester's feedback will tell you. It's better to simplify the gameplay then make it more in depth through the testing process.
