I teleported off a transport ship. After hitting next turn, my army was placed back on the transport.

...so my hero has to go barefoot if there's greaves involved? are there magic lowtop shoes that i've missed?
Seems wrong to me. Anyone else notice this?
Anyone want to complain that not enough is getting done now? or that the master list will take "years" as i saw one commenter say? :P stardock will get it done. *I* have faith. its been just over a week and they knocked out some SERIOUS fixes. awesome. 1.07 is running MUCH smoother on my system, and no crashing for me so far. Thanks! Can't wait to see where this game goes. :)
Thanks SD!! Can't wait for the next! Is there any patch cycle plans for the master list? once a week, once every 10 days, etc?
happened to me too, static--9. :(
also, there is a limit to the # of buildings you can have. cities can't build all buildings, the limit is lower. this is not a bug, this is game design. you are expected to have your cities specialize.
I would prefer to just get my 50 bucks back. This thread clearly demonstrates that Stardock's ambition exceeds it's current level of talent. This 'project' is a major quagmire and I, for one, don't intend to hang around hoping they address issues in a timely fashion.Flame away fanbois. See how far you get in your careers if you charge AAA rates for inferior and broken products.
bye. can i have your stuff?</
Late game Slowdown!!!! I see you're addressing some of the performance issues - that's good to hear, BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS: https://forums.elementalgame.com/391334/page/15 The terrible performance that many of us are getting has nothing to do with the late-game but happens any time the camera is over a city. People have been saying that their video cards are not being properly used etc. Any word on this issue?

dood that is one long list. hope you are planing on supporting this one for a while as i imagine its going to take at least a couple of months to fix all that. no worries though cause the 4x games are the type i really like to pick up and play on and off. I think master of orion 2 and sins were like the only 2 i would play for hours on end.
In case anyone else is unawares - and if i'm wrong, someone let me know - the entire st
Then we have the marriage system in of itself..I find it to be extremely limiting to only being able to marry off your children to other factions. While I enjoy the idea and I can certainly see the benefits of using such a method for political gain/stability..I believe you should be able to have your sons/daughters marry champions within your own faction. I would love some enhancement of the dynasty system. would make epic sized maps extremely interesting, as long as sovereign aging->death is included. Consolidate through heirs.
OK so there's the big update post. can we stop the histrionics now? this is issue #1.
Suggestion/Feature Request: Please show us how far a unit can go in one turn (green/yellow icon maybe), and when i click a destination, show how many turns it will take for them to walk there.
I was unable to use this spell to create a land bridge that I could actually walk across. It doesn't seem to work well on shorelines at all. Looks like non-harbor shoreline squares are impassable ("cliff" squares, I guess), even if you raise land out of the sea on the other side of it.
i got it to work. i had to raise the beach areas twice though, I think.
The software development house I work for is a wholly owned subsidiary of a multibillion dollar corporation. We do the development of the application that is the "face" of this corporation. Literally tens of millions of people use our product every day. To ship a product in the same condition as E:WoM would instantly get our firm shutdown and all of our work outsourced or moved to a different development company.&nbs
Oh for godssakes you guys, give it a rest. it's been a week. it's not like the game would be cheaper if you waited a week or a month to buy it. give them a chance. you bought the game - why? cuz it sounded awesome. stardock has their developers working on it full-time for a year. did you play galciv2? the game didnt even resemble the release version in 6 months - it was 10x better. theyre not charging you by the month. get a refund if you want - but youll just end
I'll try and find one later kryo - but it happened in two separate games, late-game...6-7 cities, lots of units, etc. I think something isn't calculating right.
In a couple games now, I've had a problem where I lose gold every turn. However, when I hover over the treasury icon at the top of the screen, it says i'm MAKING gold - positive gold. Yet every turn, the treasury goes down. So either there's some hidden expenses that aren't being counted, or there's a bug somewhere. :/
I'll second #3. So hard to finish a quest sometimes, impossible to find where to go. Additionally, I feel that i've been unable to finish quests sometimes - returning to the original quest giver with item, but nothing happens. I'll also second fsovercash's comment. That's annoying too.
I had this too. quickly go into the game settings and turn off the end turn automatically option.
Something has gone haywire, this save file is a game that runs on its own. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10662510/autorun.EleSav
OK started from scratch, into the 300+ turn range, NO CRASH! So the firmware upgrade worked. Still having the severe slowdown, cpu heavy loading, memory hogging and disappearing sound that have been reported in other threads.
@cfehunter lulz ok you think I'm n00b. that's cool. i've been working with this kind of thing since before you were born. You weren't clear at all about the "it" - since you said "it" would happen in every app that has 3D in it. But "it" doesn't, my card runs plenty of other games just fine. If you took the time (and I don't expect you did) to read that entire ATI/AMD forum thread, you'd see it was a VERY specific and uncommon problem with certain ATI
? what exactly is the "it" you're referring to? saying it's "never a good idea" is just patently false, friend. its not good to do so without reason or cause, and it's smart to make backups. but "never"? no.
