Ok. Let me know if that was the problem.

richiehu, LIne 14 refers to bmp 100, the wallpaper itself. My guess is that the wallpaper is not a .bmp or it is a .jpg or some other file format renamed to .bmp and that will cause the problem you described. Open the wallpaper in your graphics editor and resave it as a .bmp. That most likely is the problem. If you still have problems, you can email the logon to me Email and I'll check it out and send it back
This sounds like what you want Link but someone else with more knowledge in this might check it out. It sounds good, but you know how "hype" is. It's free too, btw.
Take your checkbook off the computer and hide it under your mattress RPG.
Send an email to Sleeping Dragon. He's a huge fan of Dani's and may have it.
badblueboy, for your own site, click the "My Account" tab at the top right of the page and click "Create my own Wincostomize.com Skinning Site". To upload wallpapers, click on "Submit a Skin" under "Resources" on the left side of the main page, or click your "My Skins" tab at the top right of the page and you can submit from there. Upload a .jpg as the preview and a .zip with the different sizes inside. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/
It sounds like you need to uninstall and reinstall Logon Studio as Patriots suggested. I've seen people before with the same sort of problem. Has it worked for you in the past? You are doing the correct things to load a logon, so I would suspect a corrupt install of Logon Studio. System specs and knowing if it has worked in the past on your computer would be most helpful. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
andreigh, the skin is "Spirit" by StefanKa. Comes in black or white. You can find it here Link
I suppose you're gonna stick with your 800X600 res?
Yeah eric, the tut that comes with Logon Studio will get you started. Play around with it a while and see what you can and can't do, and any problems or questions you have, just email me and I'll try to walk you through it. Email
I tried it and it worked great for me. Thanks for the info!
The way that works best for me is to set the bottom panel to "True" at about 80 px, and then crop off that amount from the bottom of your wallpaper and use it for the bottom panel image. Then use the rest of the wall as the center panel and set the top panel to "False". That's a fairly basic way to make it work right for a full screen wall on the logon. Depending on the size of your wall to start, it may not work at all resolutions. <img src="http://i
Try copying the logons that TM installs to Wincustomize\LogonStudio so that they will be in both folders and TM should find the logons in one of those. Just a guess, but it should work.
Just a guess dragonmage, I don't use TM, but from what you just said..couldn't you just copy the logons from WinCustomize\LogonStudio\Themes to WinCustomize\LogonStudio also, so they are in both folders? A bit of a hassle, but easier than editing the reg.
You're welcome..good luck. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
There's some fairly good things here Link to give you some idea of what does what in the uifiles. Here also Link It's not easy, there's tons of trial and error, and a lot of locked up logons along the way. Magic pink is fairly useless in logons. The transparency that most people think of in logons is usually achieved wit
Cool. You're all set then. If you need anything, just email me and I'll do what I can.
Bryce. Fairly inexpensive and you can do most anything your imagination will let you. There are materials and some models downloadable for free, just google and spend some time looking. Learning curve is not too bad, just spend some time playing with it and read a few tuts. PS or PSP are good for any postwork you might want to do.
It seems pretty unanimous screenies shouldn't be in the "Just In". Couldn't it have been changed by now? I don't know the process to do it but I'm sure T-Man could do it without much problem.
Maxirx, does Logon Studio work at all? Can you get any logons to work? More information would really be helpful. When you download a logon, it should be a .logonxp file. Some browsers change it to .zip and you will need to rename it to .logonxp. Please describe the problem a bit more if you can.
That line refers to the "Center Divider" in the uifile, which would be bmp 124. So I would guess it's either been deleted or is not a .bmp, something of that sort. Check that, and as I said before, if you want to mail it to me, I'll be glad to check it out for you.
I meant mine.
Lantec, get them from DA, no popups. And I appreciate it and will see what I can do on some of them in the future.I use FF and popup blockers and only get 1(one) when I go there..but I know the place can be a pain.
Apocalypse said it better, but that's what I was getting at.
It IS easier to crop a widescreen image to a standard res. The only problem being that if the wall creator doesn't have a widescreen monitor, it wouldn't be very possible to create a widescreen wall in a lot of cases if you don't know what it would look like in widescreen. Just a thought.
