Thanks. I will do that. I was trying to find out who it was, but I was having trouble finding it. I am having a lot of browser troubles now. That's really nice of you to do that. <img src="http://images.stardock
GoodMorphing
You know, there are a few skins here that bring me close to real things. Seems I downloaded it recently and I didn't even notice that the scrollbars weren't working. Probably just in my imagination, but there was one spot that reminded me of -- you know when you work at a homade desk or something a lot and you rest your forearm on it and it wears off the varnish a little, but it just means you really love and use that desk a lot? And I really liked the buttons and that thin line of green marb
OH Wow. David K! I poked your name and found out that you are the guy who created the skin Humidor! That skin, more than any other, kept me looking in here and wishing I could afford windowblinds. I still really, really love that skin. Dono if it is just me...it doesn't always work just so... didn't the taskbar just used to be skinned? Just to thank you for the nice dreams. Ok, sorry to disrupt this thead. Carry on.
OOOOOOO I'm gonna swipe a copy of that link for my self! Thanks! I was just going to add that sometimes one object bar will do that for me, and another one won't. Maybe just switch until you know the problem. I have made tons of goofs, it forgives me (I think)! HEH.... There is even one with a shortcut with a design I don't know. When I poke it, I have to reboot. Then when I reboot and poke it again .... same thing! Third time (that design has to mean something and I am stubborn!)... OK,
I don't want to seem unfreindly. I would love to!!! But I have to iron out some wrinkles in my computer. For some reason, not all components are showing as they should. And I could give only general advice. (and I admire your style)
I just wanted to say "Thank You". Every once in awhile I find something that makes something in my life function like I always wished it could. This Object Bar is that way. It lets me access my computer like I always wished I could.
Well, if you see an MSN account then it didn't change. I have logged out and in and changed it and logged in through their confirming email numerous times. Maybe the thing to do is to delete this account, and make a new one. I was looking for the account deletion button. Thanks for helping me!
When I click on my name, and when I go to edit my account I still see MSN. But you see goodmorphing now? I forget if I used caps or not, I was starting to get frustrated. I used my internet tools and dumped all off line content but my history is still there. They are not the same thing? I also use a program winpatrol that saves some cookies and blocks ones I don't want. I even thought to take wincustomize out of there but maybe it is hanging on real tight. The important thing is
I deleted all my cookies and also my history, and I signed in with my new email. And I still see my msn email addy. Do you? are cookies stored somewhere else besides temp files?
Hmmmmm... changed, reponded to that email, logged in successfully, but still I see the msn addy. Do you guys see goodmorphing? I guess I have a resistant cookie or something I have to track down. Thanks.
YIKES! Thanks for telling me. I can change it to my goodmorphing hotmail account but I have the settings on that account set to exclusive (so I have to change that or I won't get the confirmation email). I will toss those cookies! Thanks!
Oh shoot. I just clicked on my name again and it showed my old MSN address. What am I doing wrong? I have changed it and followed all the steps many times.
I changed to a more reliable email server recently. I changed my address here, got my confirming mail, clicked on the URL, logged in here. But last night the newsletter (great job, by the way!) went to my old addy. Do I need to change it somewhere else too? When I looked at my account, it had gone back to the old listing. Also, I clicked on my name and I saw my address listed. I went back to edit my account to find a way to hide it but I couldn't. Is it only me who can see that, o
I made several specialized toolbars. Then I dragged them to the side so they were hidden. I named them with a single letter to make their appearance smaller. So on the corner of my task bar is a tab for a,p,t,s with all the things I use most available instantly. I hardly ever had to open the start menu. Then I discovered object bar which does the same thing 100 times better! I really like object bars.
I don't know if this addresses the same problem, but since that last windows critical update my browser has really been unstable. I am also getting i explorer errors for the first time since I started using IE6.
HEH.... Yours has a nice link! I don't know how to make them here. (or mouseovers either)
alt="thanks for teaching me I can do this here" In case it didn't work, I was impressed by Jafo's mouseover and trying to do one of my own.
Well if I could put a link here, I would show you an old MAC box that sold for thousands! Old+looks=value I guess.
????? does chocolate cake mean birthday?
YIKES! I was starting to worry about a 20 year old grandfather. The calculations were staggering!!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/imag
I think you are right. I was thinking, though, that as the real world gets more violent, the virtual one might be kind of a haven. No bombs. Then I ran into some of these people. They aren't all kids. Many of them are grown, well placed people. There may be kind of a schism... some people retreating to a virtual haven and other people committing virtual vandalism. Virtual terrorism. ><img src="http:/
Well, I don't know very much either....but I have been reading the articles at the lower left side of the page. The Skin Primer 2002 is very informative. As for learning how things work... I hold my breath and poke buttons and see what happens. I have found that window blinds is very forgiving of experimentation (Object bars especially). One day, I will poke the right buttons and find a virtual desktop!
heh... all these confessions blew my theory. I thought maybe the curve leaned towards older people because people weren't identified. Under the spotlight, I am much younger you know. I am also better looking, richer.....
I really like some of the dark skins but I find I don't use them a lot because I cant read the font sometimes. I was wondering -- do you remember the inverse cursers? I am thinking that something similar, an inverse font, would be a great way to address the problem of matching fonts to skins and backgrounds. Have you seen something like that? Would it be hard to make one? Thanks
