I like the idea, but there is nothing that MCE does that I cannot already do with existing software and better hardware. Running Meedio as my front end to BeyondTV, Homeseer, and J. River Media Center I control my music, TV, and Home Automation. There are also a multitude of free alternatives to what I am using as well. MCE uses digital rights management on all of the media, and you cannot use them on other PC's and strictly uses WMV format instead of mpg. - Sure wish I could buy t
Do you have Winzip?...its needed to unzip the theme...then you need to click on the icon in the winzip folder which will install the theme and picture to iconpackager...if that doesnt work...then after winzip unzips the theme...open iconpackager...and install new package...find on C drive a folder called unzipped and the new theme Iconpackager di
I can probably host it if you don't have anywhere else to put it. Not very high bandwidth unfortunately.
If I'm not mistaken MS's firewall is very weak, meaning that while it does the job of stopping incoming issues, it won't stop programs on a user's computer from accessing the internet without permission and therefore the need for a real firewall still SP2 fixes this. XP will prompt you when an app tries to access the net and allow you to block it
The USB keyboards will work. Some of the keys are screwy though.
Sysmetrix skin didn't work properly for me either. I ended up downloading it from Zippo's site.
Take the "." off the end of the url. It works fine after that.
Merry Christmas. Unfortunately some of us are having to get up for work. Ho Ho Ho.
I do not use either on a regular basis, I own both, but prefer Nextstart. Object Bar is mainly for taskbars, launch bars, etc, and is much more configurable for that, and Nextstart is Mainly (but not completely) for menuing, and kicks ass. Very nice program.
They do not skin the same things though. Themes are just how the graphics are packaged. Nextstart (Winstep), is a skinnable menu, with some other stuff as well (task bar, etc). It does NOT skin any part of Windows itself as Windowblinds does.
No snow in Georgia. As Travis said, last good one was in 93. If we get anything at all it's usually just an ice storm or two.
My brother gave me copies of them from his girlfriend. Being on disability I couldn't afford to buy all of them I wouldn't be that forthcoming with that kind of info if I were you. Obviously that is VERY common, but it does not make it right, or legal. The people who produce software are just like anyone else that produce a product and
From browsing the skins it doesn't look like My Splinter Cell includes shellstyle support. Try a skin that does and see what happens. I have not actually DL'ed it, but from first guess that would be your problem.
good luck PG
There are several people that lurk there just to check, even when there are no posts.
Restaurant management, used to be IT for three of four years, and before that restaurant management for 12 or 13 more. Framed houses, landscaping, stocked groceries, photographers assistant for several years, worked in a car wash for awhile, apartment maintenance, groundskeeper. Quite a bit of work outside in my teens and 20's, but the older I get, I discover that it is actually colder in the winter and hotter in the summer, and when it rains everything just sucks.
Working fine here. Made a boot screen to match my current desktop and logon, beautifully matched now.
nice shiny whats?
A witch is a woman who floats.... Could be a duck
Of course. That is because the ones who aren't the best die out early.

at least there were no "i saw them live with Cliff on the bass" posts yet Just couldn't resist. I saw them live with cliff, hehe. Just before he died. Opened for Ozzy (the drunk b&^#!%*) in Knoxville. General admission, no floor seats. Kicked ass. Has to be up there as one of the best shows I ever saw. What was interesting is that one
did you perhaps upgrade from the shareware version of DX to the OD version? 1.99h[b].002 is the most current version. Have used several of the newer objects up for download with not problems. Perhaps something in the registry is screwed up. Does DX show up in the add/remove programs when you go through the control panel?
