Yeah, that's a regular occurence here too.
I had the same problem, but somewhere between updating my video drivers, rebooting, and starting a new game with a different faction, the problem seemed to go away. I have since been able to save and load without this issue. If the problem crops up again, I'll mention it here. Edit: Ok, I just checked and it's back..... I noticed something else too. I too have seen this.....
I got the same screen after Alt+Tabbing out and back into the game. The map was completely blank, like your screen shot.
Wow, people will "line" up to play that! No? howabout... He really threw us a curve with those screenshots! or.... It's gonna take me awhile to make sense of this "wave" of new information. I'll be here all week... (like it or not)[e digicons]:grin:[/e]
I'd ignore his first response. The explanation that makes sense is the collectors edition one. Using the pricing of the CE version, the math works out much more like you'd expect it to.
