I have noticed, as I am sure most have, that Windowblinds fails to paint the GUI in allot of cases. I was hoping a new version would fix it but, it hasn't. Things like, window frames not painting when a non maximized window is scaled to full screen size. On occassion after a boot or reboot there is no skin applied whatsoever. I haven't worked o a skin in awhile, I'm almost afraid to see all the SkinStudio bugs still present. It's for these reasons I ha

I just learned you can receive a GMail account if someone invites you that already has one. Anyone out there with a GMAil account willing to invite me so I can get one?

It's not like "you" did anything. Your PC did it for you. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. Let's just hope tha's not your crowning life achievement. Here's lies BX... he downloaded 4 gig from WC. May he rest in peace.

I just had my new TV delivered, actually a Proview RX326 LCD TV. I hooked it to my PC as a secondary monitor on my Radeon 9800 XT. There were no drivers to install, it's PnP. It shows up in device manager as a default monitor. After setting this up, WB5 quit running at start up. It still works, if I run it manually, just not at SU. The monitor is the only change to my system in a while, so it has to be the reason. I tried everything short of just disco

Don't feel bad. Everyone is addicted to something. Most of us, multiple things. Here are mine... I am addicted to my PC. I think I have sat in front of it like 3 years running now. I really should go shower but I have email to answer. Marijuana, first love of my life. Staying up late. Crap sleeping at all, can't miss something. Pepsi, 24/7/365 if they go out of business I'll die. My wife, she is so good to me I can't live without he

I never really looked at it that way. I always see things as liabilities when they could well be assets. One things you said makes real sense to me. The comment "Perhaps because they understand what it means to feel". My wife has had a relatively easy life, not trying to diminish her experiences in any way, but compared to my life it's been much better in terms of quality. But, oddly enough, she "lacks" certain simple understandings about how life real

These companies will do whatever they want and have the Federal Government backing them up. I'd be willing to bet there is more going on than just keeping a little info. Somewhere is a database of everything that happens on the net at any given time. I guarantee it. Think noone knows about that warez you been downloading, guess again. Every click of your mouse is recorded. Knowing the U.S. governments penchant for secrecy, we will all hear about the su

Reguardless of statistics, reguardless of opinion, the U.S. is in serious turmoil. I have never seen things this bad. Capitalism will be the downfall of this once upon a time, great nation. This is a place where the rich get rich and the poor slave for them. I calculate that I will only be able to vacation if something else suffers financially. And retire, WTF is that. My dad retired from general Motors after 30 years, he is a Navy veteran and will soo

Life... A strange thing indeed. Is the life you get yours? Did YOU make your life? In my case the answer is a resounding NO!!! My life has been driven by necessity. My life was planned out by circumstance. Allow me to elaborate... Once upon a time I was conceived, I was born in a hospital, after that any resemblance of a normal life ceases to exist. My parent

After the few comments made, I'll wait for the tuned up version But, I will check it out for a minute... Curiosity killed the cat, and will probably crash the PC. I changed my mind and I like it. Cool feature. AcidPhosphatase , thanks for the tip

Diafragma, I will do that, I reinstalled, just too many goodies not to play with. Movie Maker error is "the file for video transistions and effects is missing". And I specifically told the installer to NOT apply the MM skin. When I type into the searchspy when clicking the app from the tray icon and hit enter, nothing happens. But I think I might not be using it correctly, gotta look into that further. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hm

I had a chance to check this out. Had a few problems. It seems to have messed up Windows Movie Maker. When I run this app now (not hat I ever use it) it gives me a "movie effects file missing" error. This may or may not have been the issue prior to install, not sure because I never run it. After exploring it a little I decided to unistall, after which I could not use any WindowBlinds theme. Applying a new skin ended me with a classic windows skin with
