That's easy! The ones I know I'll get: StarCraft 2 -The sequel to my favorite game 10 years ago that will last for 10 years. Diablo 3 - The perfect Action RPG ? Elemental - The closest and best version of Master of Magic/Age of Wonders that's coming Halflife 2 Episode 3 - Good game. Have to get the Orange box soon though.... Supreme Commander 2 - Have to try it atleast Left 4 Dead 2 - Have to try

I assumed that the power of the channeler would be like Master of Magic. Which means that a essence hoarder can devastate enemies with Fireballs and stuff but so can any other channeler who knows the spells and got sufficient casting ability (In Age of Wonders you had to research "Casting Specialist 1-5" to have more mana to use every turn). And I don't know if it's a good thing if someone can neglect the citybuilding and just boost up heroes and powerup his spellcastin

First PC game must have been on a LAN my classmates had. Must have been DOOM though I'm not sure. First game ever I don't know the name of. I was 4 years old (27 today) and you rolled a colored BIG ball straight forward through a city. It was on an Amiga or the Commodore 64 [e digicons]:')[/e] Remember a few other games from that time. Last Ninja . Great game. Gotted an emulator and played it again a few month ago

I like the AoW way (but I haven't played Dominions or Total War). Individual units retreat and only the attacker can retreat. This enables subtle strategies like engaging a big enemy force with fast scouts and pound the enemy with spells while most scouts retreat and a few run around to prolong the spellcasting. Realism doesn't matter. Only what is FUN and works in the game should be considered! Here's a simple rule that gamedevelop

Hey! Somebody which have the same taste in RTS as I do [e digicons]:D[/e] i can also recommend Dawn of War with all expansions. I don't get what's so bad with Soulstorm except that the Sisters of Battle is like a bit weaker Space Marines since the introduced flyers. It's good in MP but the campaign is even worse then Dark Crusade (I could bare to play Dark Crusade with every race. In Soulstorm I got seriously fed up after 4 races). I h

Having borders in the game sounds like it would be a lot of diplomacy, planning and such. Sounds boring [e digicons]-_-[/e] It mustn't prolong the game as I want fast games like Age of Wonders on small and medium maps. Some peoples border ideas make it sound like they plan to play X-Large Civilization & GalCiv 2 like games where things move sloooowlyyyy and the game takes 6 hours or so.... I'm after competetive short games where I defeat the enemy as

Having the magic shards give different mana just like nodes in Age of Wonders seems worse then getting just "mana" that works for whatever spellschool you got like in Age of Wonders 2 and AoW: Shadow Magic. Having multicolor spells might work but the backside is that people would feel shoehorned in taking f.e Air & Fire for Fireballs that fly extremely far instead of something weaker like Air & Earth for stones & rocks that fly far. Blizzards WarCraft III interface is absolutely superior if you ask me. UaW got Smartcast though. The solution would be that the same hotkeys can be used for every faction (F.e if Novus hacker had z as hotkey for shutting down enemies then Hierarchys radar unit could have scan on z too).

At first I thought it was great. Then I bought it and realised that it wasn't....(Luckily it only cost me 8.8 euro) Patch v.1.3 made the game perhaps crash (60% chance I reckon) after a game is completed which means you DON'T get your achievements! All hotkeys are different which makes it nigh impossible to keep track of which hotkey was associated to which unit (and every ability must have its own hotkey....) WHY didn't t

I've been wondering the exact same thing. I too thought it was going to be like Total Annihilation --> Supreme Commander or System Shock 2 --> Bioshock but now I don't know....I will take Brads word for it though.

No leadership limit! The HoMM games are quite fun but this mechanic changes the ENTIRE GAME! HoMM and Disciples superheroes are fun in campaign but doesn't work well at all in skirmish games. I want something like Age of Wonders where you can have hero stacks if you want to or 1/4 stacks of weak creatures sprawling over the map. If you have to have a hero in a stack to make it w

I mainly want the sophisticated version because of the depth possible. I like Age of Wonders but it was to simple. Master of Magic I only played for like 20min but from what I've read from it, sounded much more interesting then AoW due to placement of cities due to mitrhil veins and such. However, I sure as hell don't want anything like GalCiv II where you had 20 planets and had to alter that damn slider for every single planet! What a borefest [e digicons]

Metric? Mjukis: 100MB from BBB? Would guess on 150 considering the supreme upload speed. (Ponten gör en razzia hos dig snart så mycke

The problem with purely turnbased games is that sometimes they're simply boring ! It's all about the when , where and how . Like in Heroes II you have to decide which mine to clear out first and when that's done which way to branch out into the world. And in a battle which unit will attack which one. Or an hour ago in Puzzle Quest....look for 4-of-a-kinds, then skulls and then manatypes. There's no action in those games....

The Age of Wonders way was nice & simple but I would perhaps change some things about it. It worked like this that you had to fulfill the following: atleast neutral standing to the race who currently occupies the city distance to the nearest town of f.e. Elves dictated how long it would take to convert the city to Elves During migration there were chances of the town rebelling and becoming independent. Percentage reduced if you had more troops in

I guess (and absolutely hope) that you train individual units which you can form into groups (GalCiv 2s fleets) if you want to and that you can also disassemble squads to individual units again. Having only a certain number of units moving through f.e. a mountain pass is a good idea and I just know it's gonna be incorporated in the campaign in that there are a squad of superpowerful troops guarding a pass which you can only engage with another squad of superpowerful tro

I would be happy with a unique selection of fantasy races such as undead, humans, centaurs, insects, lizardmen and demons where each could pro
