I gave my Yorky puppy a milk bone, he jumped on it, growled, ran circles around it, had a running streak, then came back to the milk bone and growled some more, and bit it, then grabbed a piece of it and had another running streak. He just has kept me in stitches all week! To say nothing of breaking my heart with his big brown eyes! [e digicons]

I'll miss you! Best wishes and lots of prayers for you!
This is some cool stuff bout ya! it helps me to understand how all of us are more alike than different. How did you cope with number 2 versus number 11? thanks
I'd miss you a whole lot! Remember, we've read of your life since after your accident and gotten to feel that we know you. JUsers do care bout you! Everytime I'm on the road I look to see if it's you and your rig, can't wait to see if you've grown that dang beard again, or if you got a new hat.... Hope you're feeling a lil better today truckman<

Thank God he had you for a friend, doing the errands that needed doing, the dog....and sitting with him..what a blessing...to have just one special friend is indeed a blessing. Sorry for your loss of this friend, I pray you find peace in the Universe, however I"m sure you will, you seem to walk with it. Love and peace to you.
Yes yes yes, we get those guilt feelings when a parent dies!! yes! or a friend..... and no matter how wise we are, no matter our level of education, this is part of how we mature....this is another learning tool of life.. the truth is your mom knew how much you loved her, and was proud
I didn't have to go through that painful experience of choosing the casket when my mom passed away, my dad did that. Just trying to imagine that hurt is tear provoking.... we sat around and told funny stories about mom too, that first and second night.....we sure couldn't sleep... It's so hard to lose a parent, I hope that in time you heal o
I found this to be very intriguing, very thought provoking, it also runs along the lines of what I was thinking about yesterday at dusk...... I included two answers that I'm unsure about, it's possible i saved a life once, i was working as a housekeeper at St. Joesph's Hosp. in Wi. and came upon a man hemmoraging, I used the intercom system to call for the nurse, and applied pressure to his gunshot wound
Very very sorry for your loss Mason, you, your mom and all family are in my prayers during this time. God Bless you and yours.
Family, friends, work, relaxation, the basis for good health and happiness.... as a parent I can especially relate to numbers 1 and 2! miss relating to co-workers..
Mason, so very sorry to read of your heartache.
Reheated coffee, laundry waiting, and plans for a trip into the mountain.... Sounds so familiar....that was my day back in Jan. of 91..... (with the exception of a mountain trip ) I have very much learned to live in the moment, however I had to re-visit my past to get here! Thank you for the reminders
[e digicons][/e] Thank you for sharing and for the giggles!! cute too
Hi Serenity :) your article is timeless, it seems like women have always been torn by feelings of inadaquecy! If it helps, us "mature" women seem to find peace with ourselves as we age....some of it is the realization that we can't stop the aging process, so we have to accept the wrinkles, ect. The other piece of it is seeing in other
The good news, imho, is that those that are filled with hate and that have to berate others, is that they'll prolly give themselves an ulcer from all the bad juices flowing through their bodies... just my 2 cents worth on a gray day
Hehe....prolly trying to catch or deflect that dang head of lettuce on my foot so as not to disturb the neighbor below me! Or maybe the time that I tripped over a trailor hitch, around 1 in the morning, while running through a parking lot with only a blanket on, and falling down....got a real nasty bruise out of that incident, not to mention being exposed!
Hi Serenity [e digicons]|-)[/e] Hope time helps you to find your way back. Perhaps the changing of the seasons, the big today tomorrow and all the clamor as a result....perhaps things like this are part of it. Hugs dear lady.
Finding contentment with the day is a way of life for me now, and on a day like today, which is sooooooooooooo beautiful, I went against my nature and paid the price.... "I do think we do what we do and are what we are as a result" can't say as I agree with that statement, as heredity plays a large part in our health... least that's the way
You're right, Janie is a treasure :) Better a word to that stupid trucker driver than a fight Although I think with you that fight wouldn't have lasted more than one punch!
[e digicons][/e] Thank you thank you thank you! NOW I feel better about a negative encounter!
We had one here too yesterday, a double one, I got some pix of it and some video too, however am using my other computer now and can't transfer them out of camera. It sure was lovely! Glad you shared!
