H, so I install the new update (IP 3.99) and lo and behold, there is no longer an icon packager icon in the control panel running under a limited account. It was fine before 3.99 So, in other words, icons will only change under an acocunt with admin rights thus far. My icon packages did move to the all users folder though. Any ideas on what can be done? I may just go back to the older version. Thanks.

So, I renewed my object desktop, and now am running Windowblinds 6. so, I have an issue here with wb6 In the config menu of wb, after unchecking use skins sounds if included or whatever, it does not stick so to speak. Meaning, if a skin has annoying sounds, and I choose to overide that (no sounds) the sounds still play anyway. I'm kinda ticked off at this. Is this ever going to be corrected? Thanks!

Hello! I uploaded a wallpaper entitled Revelate. However, it does not appear in the wallpaper section. One of the ones that I last uploaded does however. I go to my profile and see it fine. any ideas? I'm stumped! Michael.

Hi Thank you for the replies. Hm, so is there really any way to prevent this? (Well, besides unchecking align to desktop) I tried moving the taskbar up and down, and sure enough, the icons moved around. Thank you again for your replies. At least I know that I'm not going crazy now.
Hello I'll try to describe this as best as possible. Applied one of the lbinds that causes this for me (the Trooper blind) Normally, I have 2 rows of icons on this user account. I re-enabled align to grid. Chose the Trooper blind. Locked the desktop, unlocked it, and instead of 2 rows of icons, there were 3. The icon on the 1st row, 4th from the bottom was missing, it ended up pushing another icon into a 3rd row. So, maybe some of the blinds changes
Hi There are 32 icons currently on my desktop. Usually happens with the one on the lower left (number 13 or 14 on left side) The thing is, it only happens using certain blinds. Thanks.
I seem to be having some odd issues in using certain Window Blinds. Example- While logged onto my machine, I step away, so hit the windows key and l (lock the desktop) and after returning, there is always one icon missing from my desktop. This only happens using a few window blinds. If I have align icons to grid unchecked, this does not happen. Help!
I'm having the same issue. In my case, it seems that the "My Videos" folder remains yellow.

This is a silly question, but for the life of me, I cannot seem to locate the option to change a skins color. I have the newest version of wb. I know in the older version, it was user overide or something. Thanks.
You could try this (it's worked for me, object dock plus, iconx, window blinds, etc) Be under an admin account then- Open a command prompt, then go to your window blinds dir (say c:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\windowblinds) or whatever location you have it installed. When in at the dir at the command prompt, just type (can copy and paste into a prompt) CACLS.EXE . /E /T /G USERS:F <b
I'm just wondering, if one has a program like Acronic True Image, would this program still be able to have it's uses/benefits? If so, I may just give it a try.
Wow, I managed to get it to work. Just wanted to say, good release. ended up having to insert this into a command line in the wb directory (heh, worked for Object dock Plus also, so i'm a happy camper) CACLS.EXE . /E /T /G USERS:F (was file in wb dir user permissions.txt) Great job stardock.
I cant believe this. updated, ran fine, logged on as al imited user account, got this meessage- Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Before the update, all was well. Hi Before I decided to re-do my whole system, Object dock Plus was working perfectly under a limited user account. Well, now I seem to have a problem. OD Plus will not run under a limited user account. I wish that I could remember how it all was working before the reformat, but that was like 7 months ago. Thanks in advance.
Found the problem and solution. Changed the server location from chicago to California and all is well. (sdc options, internet, then server) Anyway, windowFx installed and is working correctly.

Everytime that I run Stardock Central to install WindowFX, it always fails on the install. Something about no o.bmp in the temp folder of sd or something. Help!
