My favorite time of year. Love to gussie up my puter. Hope it's done by Thanksgiving or the 1st week in Dec. Thanks to all who work on this as I am not a skinner. Looking forward to XMax!
Went to Display-Appearance-Advanced to change Titlebar font and it was not there. Where else can I do this? Is this permanent?
Sorry. I get Stardoc has encountered a problem and must close. I can't open it at all.
I get the same when I try to run Stardock Central. Should I uninstall and re install?
I can't for the life of me get rid of the User pic. I have done everything suggested. I'm running WB6. Help please, SJN
I have the exact same problem. Everything is checked (have had it this way since the ckeck boxes were there). Something is wrong. Skin Studio6 beta shows however.
SD updated itself as usual. Restarted and now there is nothing for WB6, not even a beta. Skin Studio6 is there but no WB6. My OD account expires in 2008. Anyone else with this problem? Thanks.
Has anyone from Stardock taken a look at my post? Reply #222
Now I had installed WB6 590(b).026 (first tried with .23) and When I RIGHT CLIKC on the desktop Explorer.exe crashes. When I RIGHT CLICK in IE6 it automatically closes. When I unload WB6 and RIGHT CLICK on desktop and IE6 all is fine. I have uninstalled WB6 and reinstalled WB5. Everything works again. Please help. Thank you.
I'm also interested in a solution to this. It is a bit annoying to try to see a tooltip and then it's blocked by the cursor. I think all tool tips should appear above the cursor. I can't use some cursors as the tooltips are semi blocked by the cursor itself. Hope someone can find a solution.
Neil, Sorry I misunderstood. Yes, I had build .23 installed. Kept getting same message as in reply #186 only when I right clicked on the desktop. Again, when I right clicked anywhere in IE6 it colsed automatically. Thanks again.
Neil, Yes I have the SD Version 2.46.471 build 154 installed. I keep getting this pop-up explorer.exe - Application Error The exception unknown software exception (Oxc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x66048c26. Click on OK to terminatethe program. Thanks.
I've tried a second time and the install webt great. When I RIGHT CLIKC on the desktop Explorer.exe crashes. When I RIGHT CLICK in IE6 it automatically closes. When I unload WB^ and RIGHT CLICK on desktop and IE6 all is fine. Anyone else with this problem? I love the new WB6. Just wish I could use it. Finally had to go back to WB5. I guess I'll have to wait for the full release.
BTW, I am running Windows Media Center w/ SP2.
The onlt problem I had was that the right click crashed explorer.exe and was completely unusable. I uninstalled WB6, rebooted, installed WB5, rebooted and have no problem with the right click.
Thanks to you all, I just peed on the sofa having the best laughs in a long time. Dosen't take much to amuse me, but this all deserves a big BRAVO!
Windows Media Player's menus don't work properly for me so I don't skin it. Also, EZ Cleaner.
How about a System Restore? Just a thought.
I had problems before but found that several Firewall and anti-Virus programs were the culprit. Had to test each and WB was not slowing down my computer at all.
I'm with vStyler, Vista . After all, he created the incredible StargateSG1 WB.
No problems at all. Don't have Vista, only Xp Media Edition. Think I'll stay with this for awhile.
