God knows with the craziness that's going on if this is true or not. I certainly hope it's not. There are many possibilities here and I hope the powers that be are looking into it.

Most of what is said here is true. For the most part though, the important thing is, the parents or parent have to make time for the child. If they don't, then the child knows no limits or have no boundaries to follow. It doesn't matter whether the parent is working or is a full-time mom. It has to do with how much time is spent with the child to teach him or her the values you as a parent have and want them to follow. I'm a full-time worker and
1) An Island w/everything imaginable for my family's comfort 2) A Yacht to sail any and everywhere 3) An Aeroplane 4) An Oasis, lots and lots of water 5) Good health to enjoy all
Another one that had me rolling.....! The other day I went up to a local Christian bookstore and saw a honk if you love Jesus bumper sticker. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the sticker and put i
I agree with blogic, "...Bush seems to be in denial about the reality on the ground, even as generals and senators report on a hemorrhaging situation. When your team is doing badly, you change managers. When your company is doing badly, you change CEOs." It's time for a change. Lets put someone else in there who will clean up the mess that has become our countries legacy. There are just too many people out there who are out of work, underpaid, hung
I just bumped into this one - funny, but nicely done! I've already had the talk with my 15 year old but not with the 10 year old yet, and the 3 year old is right behind. Oh, thisis going to be so much fun!
Being mother, wife, full-time worker and everything else in my household, I know the feeling. It's even harder when you have toddlers running around. Nothing gets done. And if it does, it's like you never did it in the first place. I like reading info on about.com at housekeeping.about.com. Hang in there. Link
Kids are so much fun! If you do get it on tape, save it for them and show it to them when they are teenagers and see how they react!
My husband dropped me off at work, he does this everyday, and at the end of our journey he asked me if I had money. I had Twenty bucks I said, that's all I have if you want I can go get change to give you half. So in I went to my office in search of change. i didn't realise this would be such a difficult thing to do. Well, I walked the entire building, i
Some interesting facts there joe. I read about about the challenge to Google in the NY Times recently. I thought it was interesting. I've never used their search engines though, at least not yet. I'm so used to Google, that's the first place I go. I'm just a googlehead! Sometimes it's good to have competition, keeps them on their toes, although the guys at Google would probably disagree.
Each day when I open my email I notice my bulk folder is usually filled to the brim with junk mail. Sometimes I think to myself, how in heavens name did I get all this junk email. Some are ads, some are requests, and some actually are begging me to sign up for one thing or the other. When I scroll down and look at each message (that is, if I do open them) it says t
An Asian woman married an English gentleman and they lived happily ever after in London. However, the poor lady was NOT very proficient in English, but did manage to communicate with her husband. The real problem arose whenever she had to shop for groceries. One day, she went to the butcher and wanted to buy chicken legs. She didn'
I believe in fate all the time. I believe that we are all here for a purpose. Sometimes you know what it is right away and for others, me included, you keep searching until you find it. Sometimes you're even where you are supposed to be already and you don't even know it! So, it depends on your beliefs! I'm glad you guys got our dad back. You were all where you were supposed to be at that time. I agree with Carebear, there are angels watching -
My girlfriend and I were just talking about that the other day. She calls from the UK and we chat for three hours! Anyhows, she was telling me that her fiance got fired from his job and it's a long story but we both said thank God because of the type of people he worked with. He works for a construction company and he was a hard worker and they were very abusive to him in every which way possible. Because he needed the job and he wasn't a quitter h
Congratulations on your achievements thus far. I don't know you but I salute you! I am proud of all our men in uniform, whether they are here or somewhere out there representing our country. I think it's a damn hard thing to do and I salute you for sticking with it. My niece is in the Navy and we are all so proud of her. My brother was also in the army, in our birth country, he was a fine soldier and we were all very proud of him. Kudos to you!<
I've given up on reviewers when it comes to movies and TV shows that I like because I find them biased most of the times. Either that or they have no clue to what they're talking about. Seriously, most times their comments are so far off or nonsensical that I just get disgusted with it. So, it's in one ear and out the other where they are concerned. I'm an avid magazine reader, I read a wide assortment, from newsworlthy and intellectual to fun and
Good for you Peter! I know how hard it is. I recently stopped working out because of different things going on in my personal life, I gave it a break. But now I'm getting the urge to start again, especially since my energy level is sapped and I miss the great feeling I had when I was working out. I say stick with it and just try doing other types of exercise and you'll probably get over that plateau bump. That's the hardest part. Goodluck!
I liked it too. It certainly beats the boredom of a Sunday night. Can you believe the wife who went home to cut the lawn in her party dress, just so her stud/lover/handyman wouldn't get fired. I was waiting for her dress to get caught in the lawnmower! Now that would have been really wicked! I can't wait for the nex
1/ Did you have a nickname ?. What was it, and how did it come about ?. Ms. Tourist. Where I grew up, my language skills were a lot better than most kids. I didn't speak with the usual inflection in tone or dialect. 2/ Were you a student who ‘worked to the best of their ability’, or were you a serial-hider of report-cards ?. I did well in school. Never had to hide a report card
So precious! Aren't they just so precious at that age. Children are such joys to have around (when they're having a good day that is). No, let me rephrase that. They ARE joys to have around. They're allowed their bad moments too, just like us grown ups, Right?!
Oh lordy, I can't believe this one...I'm rolling on the floor with laughter here. I'm glad you got that sucker though. Reminds me of last weekend in front of the mirror trying to pull an offending one that time a follicle from my head though. Not because of vanity but the offending one would not lie flat! My daughter came to my rescue. Those suckers can be stubborn too. You're really, really funny!
I'm not tryng to out do myself here by writing a lot. But that's what JU does to you. You want to share every little detail of what's going on in your life! Funny enough I had to share this. I googled myself and it's really interesting to see how many people with my name is out there. I have a popular name, spelt a little differently but popular because
Here I am Feeling lost Not knowing what to do Why does it always have to be this way? I’m tired of just being… Here I am Like a little bird, shivering I know I’m not alone… Because you’re with me I can always count on you Here I am Wondering Hopeful, dreaming of the day That everything will be the way it should be<B
Sunwu - there are cost guidelines published by each of the dental plans. They always give you a book for you to see what your out of pocket costs will be. And there always is out of pocket costs. You are right, big cities do have it set up better. When I lived in a bigger city the plans were a lot better. I had one that allowed up to $1000 for each family member. We got everything done up to that amount for each of us. All that happened was the
Anglo - I wholeheartedly agree with you. Avoid dentists at all cost unless absolutely necessary. Which would be fine with me and I actually do now that I think about it. I only go to have the usual cleaning and if there's a problem with my mouth so having the dental plan is a crutch, it's mainly for the kids. However with the fact that I have a dental problem that's not being taken care of is hell, and I'm not just talking about the toothache. <B
