CS Guy - I recommend 100 Bullets, Planetary, and Warren Ellis' runs on Stormwatch and the Authority. You can get them all in trade form and are some of the best things in comics these days, IMHO. I'll work on an article that gives an overview of the books. I don't want to get too off topic here.

This is an excellent plan. Our school does something similar, but not to the extent of iPods... We issue our entire curriculum in the form of both actual textbooks, but also converted to CD with all the audio in mp3 format. We also issue our students mp3 capable portable cd players. We also have smartboards and projectors in every classroom with satellite cable that pulls in channels in most of the languages that we teach here (3 Korean channels).
Korean baseball games have the same issue with programming. I was watching their all star game one year and that broke away just after the seventh inning stretch. Very frustrating. But the live games were an absolute blast. It's all about the fans there.

But the SK couple were there for years before the oppurtunity presented itself for their escape... dharmagrl - My wife and I were seperated for almost two years while I was in Korea. I think we were both a bit anxious and apprehensive about living together again. We're both fairly independent people and strongwilled (well I'm strongwilled, she's just stubborn... or is it the other way around?). Honestly, it did take a little while to get used to each other again. But we also experienced something close to a second honeymoon in our new home, too.
