Life is a Game
Isn't it easier to get one of those mini PC cases and carry around an LCD? Yeah, almost... But I gues those mini pcs are not as powerful as this one.
I really like RoyaleVistaWB
I know it's not exactly the lightest laptop out there but it's very comfortable to work on. Sometimes you just have sacrifice one thing (weight) in order to get the other (comfort)
Last time that I went to Virgin Megastore I had 2 interesting encounters. The first one with my long-time friend Lara Croft. We had a nice chat filling each other with latest things that happened to us since our last meeting in April 2006. It was fun as you can see on the photos. The second encounter was with Stardock's Galactic Civilizations II game for PC. At first I was very happy to see that this great game found its wa
Just couple of days ago I received the 'Dell Wrap Around Carrying Case for Dell XPS M2010 Notebook'. As it is not available on the Dell UK website I ordered from USA and a friend of mine that lives in USA sent it to me and as Dell didn't post yet any photos on their website of this case here are some of mine in case you would like to see how it looks. The funny thing is that on the Dell Website this case is in categ
After nearly 10 days of using XP again I don't miss Vista a bit. The only things that I miss sometimes are large icons and time in 3 different international zones. So I'm not so sure I will upgrade to Vista immediately when it's released but rather wait until I get a new computer. The other thing is also that the software that is currently available on the market it's not specifically written for Vista so it doesn't use all the goodies that
You can run an automatic Recovery off the Vista DVD to late for that I'm back in XP
This morning I come to the office at 9am as everyday and switch on my computer. I choose to boot in Vista... as everyday... and then... i get a 'blue screen' saying bla bla bla... that windows shut down my computer to prevent damage to it. I tried restarting few but times same thing. So I will reinstall my computer today and it's back to XP MCE for me until final version of Vista is released. Anyway I am very happy that I had opportunity to test Vista and post some good articles and d

This hasn't happened to me in Vista yet but it did quite a few times in XP. But here is the dialog window that pops up if you want to delete the file that is open. It offers more information that XP that said only file is in use by another application or something like that.
What program are you using to record the screen? I'm using CamStudio which is free
hey, i hear that if you try and delete something, you get like 5 "are you sure" dialogs, is that ture? actually i think you get 2 but you can switch off the UAC (User Account Control) as I did and you get just one as in XP <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Ew.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
and no virtual folders yes apparently that was a bad idea. lots of people were getting confused about it. basically the virtual folders were like an automatic search folders. so in virtual music folder windows put all the music from your computer.
kind of dissappointing that that there is no XP theme well that's why Stardock makes WindowBlinds so you can apply Win XP theme to Vista

I don't like Symantec. I had Norton Antivirus and it didn't find any viruses. I installed PC-Cillin which immediately found it and cleaned it. Not to mention those stupid warning boxes from Norton that you can't minimize but they always stay on top
One thing is for sure - the battery will not explode as it is a Sony product
I think that the bigest threat to a computer represent users themselves by not knowing what is safe to open and what not.
I have a good suggestion for speeding up your computer - BUY MORE MEMORY
thanks for the comment wyldstallyns2589 and I will cover in my next demos the stuff that you requested
