how are you getting the font and color to work i'm not sure, but it maybe a conflict in the firefox colour settings...it you go to the options (Alt-O) then the Content, then Font & Colors, you could try playing with the Color settings there...

Issues = no quote ability, not even the brackets anymore bizarre, because quotes are working fine for me, even allowing me to use the quote function correctly in firefox, i.e. just highlight the text, press the quote button and it appears 'quoted' in the 'Add You Comment' area.. gremlins in the system?
i've been posting and reading with FF 1.5.0.4 with no real problems....the only thing that's not working for me is that when re-visitng a forum post, it takes me to the top of the page, rather than to the last post i'd read....also the little images with Fourm Home/ General etc etc don't always display correctly...but both these things were pointed out in earlier threads when the Stardock developers were asking for feedback about the new forum....so maybe (?) they are working on them <
thanks again Night Train, i'll do that
i'm not sure if it's normal or not, but i found that SkinStudio was using the 'original' .bmp in the skin directory, not the ones that i had changed, even though it said it was using them in SS. i renamed the bmp files for the menu backgrounds in explorer and now it seems to be working, all expect the text on the tools bars, which stubbonly remains black, even though everything to do with text in the Toolbars Buttons section is set to white....
hmmm, well everything looks fine in the preview panel or when clicking the Test button, just not when i apply the skin... the same problem as i originally posted has started again, even though the Flat menus is disabled...wow, do you skinners have any hair left? mine's in chunks on the floor...i keep fiddling, thanks again for the suggestions, i had coloured the images... cheers
thanks very much Night Train, that did the trick...fantastic 'm also having alot of trouble getting the TabPane background being anything other than white (ie the background panel in Display Properites), and the text color of 'File' in windows explorer is black, even though i've not got any black text set...are there some other settings i need to disable? thank you
ok, i'm finally giving it a go, and trying to create a WB skin...could someone please tell me if it's possible to skin, or preferably re-colour, the menu bar background in applications...i've tried everything i can find, and to no avail..windows explorer is fine, it's other applications, as seen in the screeshot below, thank you
i have the latest free version of ObjectDock (1.30.028), and it is possible to change the position of the dock from the edge. as KiloKrash describes, open the dock configuration, then select the 'Position' tab, and play with slider i've marked in the screenshot below...enjoy, i hope it works for you...it works for me <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=

i think the easiest way is to use IRC for this (for those who aren't sure what IRC is) is to use either the Wincustomize Browser or SDC for the IRC chat...just click on the link that says 'Chat', then hit the 'Connect' button, and it connects you directly to Stardocks IRC channel
i use perfectdisk 7.0....it works fast and intelligently...it's main rivals are diskeeper and o&o...all are very good...if you want to read a long in-depth discussion have a look at the following link : Link i know it starts in 2004, but the post continues right upto this month, talking about all the latest versions

question: does anyone actually ever use the 'Channels' section in the 'Forum Menu' in the left hand column? 'cos it look ugly and takes up space..i really can't see any point in it, i have never even vaguely been tempted to use it to naviagte around...
your welcome RadialFX if you do try Premier, you just import your clip, then export it as a 'movie', then you can tell it to export as GIF or however...i know it's not cheap, but it is great software
i use Adobe Premier Pro, and this lets you export any movie or sequence as individual frames, and does it extremely well...however it's not cheap....they do a cut-down, and much cheaper, version of Premier Pro called Adobe Premier Elements..i'm pretty sure it will export to frames too, but i'm not 100% certain...
problem with long titles and sub-titles...here's a screenshot from a recent post try resizing the width of your browser window to see this... **edit** - should point out i'm using firefox 1.5.0.3
