Why is my screen all squished? It hurts to look at it. And I don't want to buy a new monitor. So, is there a way to change the resolution, otherwise, I've just paid 45 bucks for a game I can't play. So, please, anybody here that can help, please E-mail me at [email protected]

What does the pref.ini do anyway? PLease, I want o play it...Sorry if I sound like I"m begging. I have a form of Autism....

The people at Stardock are going to need more detail before they can help you. As Fredrik says, the game only displays in 1024*768*16bit, but it switches to that mode when you start the game (except for the windowed version, which isn't kept up to date). Most, if not all of the displays and display adapter cards manufactured in the last several years will support this resolution, so it is likely that your problem lies somewhere else. The people at SD will probably ask you to locate the debug.err file and ask you to email it to them as a start. They may ask you what your display adapter card is (ATI, NVIDIA, etc). But they won't be in until tomorrow morning.
